@@leisabriggs5230a recent fun mix-up I watched today was when Kayla pulled out a beautiful chenille bedspread and pronounced it like Chanel to which Matt said he didn't know they also made bedding. I love these sweet honest mistakes being left in because we all learn like this. It was adorable! I too was saying, "sha neeel!" 😂😂😂

I am from the uk and those fences are actually called dirt stone wall . We have so many still in use and built or maintained. Particularly in Yorkshire and the north of the uk. X
Dry stone walls in UK, and our cows with big horns are Highland cows
I’m from a rural area in Australia and seeing all the stone fences in the uk was what stood out to me straight away, so beautiful and they look so old. It’s a common thing here that your parents make the kids pick up all the rocks in the paddocks even small ones so the seed for grass for the horses etc grows well. I pictured the parents in the uk doing the same thing but using them to make fences 😆
And Cornwall in the south west of uk!
We'd call those stone walls also, and we're from the US.

I've been watching both of you for a very long time. I started with Matt, when he first started and found you shortly thereafter . You two are the best! You are always so polite, honest, and very generous. I live in Florida, but my cousins are from Danville Kentucky and Lexington. I wish the both of you the very best. I remember when Kayla wouldn’t look something up at the yard sale. Now it’s like “you want me to look it up”. 😂 she’s so sweet. Wish I could send you the video of my sister feeding a slug cat food, he would come everyday. I named him Gary, it’s funny and gross at the same time.

My great uncle was a care taker of the Shaker Meeting House in Manchester England, as a child I would play in their toy room and in the gardens. … I believe Shakers started in Manchester with Mother Ann, a breakaway from Quakers

Not sure how this happened, but my husband and I have like become a fan of your stations..we don't garage sale, and not sure how your video ended up in my lineup of videos to watch, but started to and we got hooked and seeing what you could "flip" an item for. We keep saying we wish we could let you garage sale our house for items so we don't have to throw them out, just because we wouldn't have the energy to do all you have to do, but plz come thru our house and offer what u want for anythg we don't want anymore, which is sooooooo much... but anyway love your channel, and love that your adding lil snippets of your person life, like when your traveling, or the very cool tree house b& b, loved your trip around arizona...gave us ideas of where to go when we visit. I swear you could have a third channel of just you guys just being you guys, just dabbling in what you've been adding lately. Your day to day life, just think your combined fans would all follow. Lol gotta love it when they called it a fence when it's actually called a wall. But that's ok. We love you both.I love stone walls, give that old English vibes. What better thing to do in areas that have huge stones and the land is being cleared than put those stones to good use. Always wanted one to grow some beautiful roses on.

Kayla, the basket with the lid can be used as an ice bucket for picnics or gatherings. You can slide a stainless steel container inside the basket and then dump your ice in and put the lid back on. It is so handy and cute. Mine is made out of white wicker and I love it!!!!!

My mom has a mother and her baby giraffee brass she has had since I was a child. The other day she saids that is yours if you want it. She didn't have to ask me twice. She didnt know I was clicking my heels together as I leaped in the air in my mind lol

Went to Shakertown a few times years ago before I moved and it was amazing. The story about how it was founded is so interesting and what became of the Shakers is quite a story. The Village was broken up and later property had to be purchased in order to restore it to it's original size. The home cooked food in the main restaurant was wonderful. The buildings and furniture made by the Shakers is so beautifully crafted. And you can stay over night to get the full experience. It's certainly worth seeing. Thanks Kayla for reminding me how much I loved visiting there! And there's plenty of other stuff to show Matt around where you live!!!

That mirrored sconce is from Home Interior, I use to sell it. I had 3 of them hanging on my wall for years and took them to Goodwill, I wish I'd kept them now.
back in the day, everyone in my family had those homeco sconces on the walls. lol I think I still have a few in a box in the attic or shed. Someone in the family sold home interior and was always having parties. You always felt obligated to buy something. Like pampered chef and tupperware. I was a tupperware dealer myself. lol

A lot of the plastic wall sconces are from the old home shows “Home Interiors” It was very popular in the Midwest especially in small towns where people didn’t have stores that had stuff like that to decorate with. They would always display stuff as a “grouping”. Back in the 70’s and 80’s my mom was always going to a Home Interiors Party. O it tickles me Wayne you find it and think it is so cool. 😊
We used to play Jarts years ago with no problems. We were smart enough to stand out of the way of our opponents. 😉
The person that was fatally injured was a 7 year old girl. Her brother's friend was throwing them and it struck her. She probably didn't just stand there..

Hi Matt and Kayla I'm from Australia I love your channel, here in Australia at garage sales if you pick something up you want then put it down for a second and someone else picks it up I've seen fights break out because that 2nd person who picked the item up said you didn't want it you put it down, so if you pick something up you hold it or pay for it and put it in your car.
I went to a garage sale with my partner when he ask about the item and someone buttered in and said they will take it even thou my partner was getting his wallet out so bidding war started a $20 item turned into a $60 item. It's a sport here in Australia. We used to buy and sell like you and gave it up as people wouldn't pay or change of mind some people were rude so we gave it up. But I enjoy watching you both keep up the great work. 🇦🇺❤❤

It was due to a little girl getting killed. I don't remember if she was in her yard and the neighbors were playing and it went over and it went in her head. After that they were banned.

The stone fence is awesome. You guys are great pickers. Instead of asking each other if you should get it, put it in the pile then decide. You both have good instincts and need to stop doubting yourselves. I think something that would be fun for you to do at a good will is set an amount to spend on a complete outfit for one another and see who can get the best bargain and you have to wear them at the end of the video and/or for the next video so we can see the choices and vote on who's outfit we like. 💞😀. ✌❤🕯

We have these dry stone walls all over the UK, Matt they are called drystone walls because they don't use any mortar or cement, and the English cattle are called longhorns.
I'm from the UK too, I mistakenly thought they were talking about Highland cattle.
I live in Lancashire so we're surrounded by dry stone walling, and have friends who did apprenticeships in rebuilding then, it's not easy to do, people who do it can spota stone that fits from a mile off.

Hi. Along with reselling i also ghost hunt. I just did a hunt at the Winchester mystery house. The best was several years ago we spent the night at one of thr most haunted places in America...the cemetery in Virginia City.
