Awesome idea! Buying my first ‘70s CB350 tomrw! Owned many Hondas. Have always wanted one of these vintage bikes. Subscribed! 😎👍

First of all I just wanted to say I love your videos they have helped me a lot on my 73 cl350. I'm wondering though when the tube is 5 inches do the side covers still fit?

I have put these filter on other 350s with side covers. If you may have to shorten the tube a little to make everything fit. Try to keep end in the filter about 3" away from the back of the filter and it will work great.

@@Amotorcyclenut I bought these AFR175 filters for a cb350 I'm building. I'm wondering if I cut the tube down from 5" to 3" to hide the tube and make the filter look like it's right on the carburetor, if I will have issues? Have you played around with that length?
      Thanks!

So great! My '78 CB125 was having issues in the 3/4 throttle range and this cleared it right up! Thank you. One quick question, I was able to find tubing for my 125 carb but can't find 2" for my 350. I've done a lot of searching online and at Home Depot, any suggestions?

      Go to your local hardware store. Ask for black irrigation tubing. It''s cheap and lots of different sizes. 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, 3"

Nice idea but if the tubbing bends with just a little heat gun, what happens when the engine is hot. I'm sure it will start to bend or the plastic gets plyable.

Good question. The plastic type is similar to what stock carb boots are made of. You have to heat it move than a little to make the stuff move. The tubing is thicker than the stock boots and there is cold air running through it when the bike is running. It works very well. I have done this on quite a few bikes of my own and haven't had any problems with it bending after proper installation, even after riding a long periods of time in hot summer temperatures.
