    update:
    I started avoiding every plastic things about 3-4 months ago.. Especially bottles and microwave containers. It's difficult and you can't eliminate everything, my skin is much much better. Not deep acne at all. I suggest to give a try. If you wondering why? When you consume plastic particles, your body produce estrogen , which leads to hormonal problems which leads to skin problems.
    -------
    I started taking zinc just today, this is how I found your video. I have skin problems too, mostly acne what sometimes really deep and ugly, other times not so bad. I tried to find connection with many things, food or shampoo but not really much I figured out.
    So I strongly hoping zinc will help me. It can be very frustrating when I have strong conditions I don't even want to go out of my house and yes I am a guy, but I am so envy for those people who have clear and healthy skin without any treatments...

    You’re skin is getting drier is because of the vitamin a. It has a similar effect to accutane, because accutane is a vitamin a in large doses :)

      No. If it were that easy, everyone would be taking Vit A instead accutane. Just because a chemical is related to another substance doesn't make it the same thing

    • @CRGB-ec3vu
      @CRGB-ec3vu Год назад +4

      @@klaus5098 Accutane is a synthetic vitamin A that does not destroy the liver. unlike actual vitamin A which becomes toxic in high doses because its fat attaches to fat in the liver while accutane is water based. Accutane basically allows you to take tons of vitamin A without the toxicity. What it does is shrink the oil glands.

    Happy my comment helped! I can also recommend taking turmeric supplements as a natural anti-inflammatory and probiotics for gut health by taking either “bio-kult” tablets (superior to acidophilus tablets) or by eating natural probiotics like Korean kimchi (spicy cabbage pickle) available in health food stores. An all round multivitamin like Solgar’s “Female Multiple” will cover your zinc intake and general female hormone balance! Keep with the Vitamin A separately! Dandelion root tea and liquorice teas for the evening also help with cleansing the blood, rebalancing female hormones and helping with skin complaints! Happy to see such a success story, keep up your inspiring channel, it helps to support so many girls and women struggling with the same skin issues!!! Love from London! 💕🤗

    Well you got me going on your wonderful podcasts with the KOSO then I saw this one about A and zinc.
    As a very well seasoned lady who's passion is caring for myself without taking any chemicals aka pharmaceuticals that Dr's want to push on us. This comment is to all darker skinned people and the vital need to take more Vitamin D3 (which is actually a hormone) and MK 7, as the darker skin (even caucasian with tans) need to up their dosages of Vitamin D3 thus upping MK7 (best to always take the 2 together to keep bones. I wouldn't tell anyone how much to take but for references and I live in Florida (so plenty of sun) I take 20,000IU's in the morning and evening most days, I know some will say YIKES but now in winter months some northerners will not be going out a much or will be covered warmer dress.
    Stay blessed everyone
    Keep up your great work Lakisha

    • @itsLakishaa
      @itsLakishaa  11 месяцев назад

      You are absolutely right! Especially with the Vitamin D3. It is so important for everyone, particularly those with deeply melanated skin to up their dosage. I would always suggest meeting with a naturopath (that’s what I ended up doing) to get a full work up and see what they specifically need and what dosage. Thank you so much for watching and sharing such good advice ❤️✨

    Vitamin A causes dryness and thus probably helped with your oil production and helped with breakouts but it may be the reason your skin became sensitive. Accutane is vitamin A and after treatment it can leave your skin thin and sensitive after. Acne has to do with your gut most likely. Have you tried a probiotic?

From what I know of detox teas, they are essentially laxatives so I don’t really recommend taking them. The one that you’ve mentioned, I’ve taken a look at the ingredients, unless they have added something else it seems fine since it basically a herbal tea but I’d always take that with a grain of salt. I always recommend that less is more. Do one thing at a time so maybe when you’re done the tea then take a week or Teri to fully get it out of your system before starting the pills. Hope that helps ❤️

      You’re absolutely right! And it really did help but as I said in the video 50mg of zinc is a lot. I pretty much took the highest dosage of vitamin a and zinc that is safe to take to try and speed up my results but is a lot to take for an extended period of time and I decided to discontinue using the two pills (as I am not a nutritionist )and opt for a skin targeted/holistic prescription instead. I recently posted my experience with Care/of Personalized vitamins. I saw this first from Cassandra Bankson here on YT (she suffered from cystic acne as well) This is what I’m currently using and my cysts have not returned. Hope that helps!

      Sorry for the late reply, I just saw your comment. From my research, I haven't found anything saying that they shouldn't be taken together, and like the Lady T. said, there are vitamin C tablets that already have zinc in them. I would advise taking something like that since the doses are already mapped out for you. When it comes to mixing vitamins however, I would always recommend taking one at a time to start since you shouldn't mix too many together. I would always speak with your doctor to see if it is something they would recommend for you, otherwise, take a multivitamin. Hope that helps.

      @@itsLakishaa megagrams would also be abbreviated to the same letters, just a capital M (ie "Mg") instead of a lowercase m, though we more commonly refer to a Mg/megagram, as a metric ton, 50 megagrams of zinc (or anything else) likely exceeds the maximum load for a semi-trailer and is definately way to much zinc to take (not least no human could hope to lift a single 50megagram tablet nor fit it in their mouth)
