I thought that it was HILARIOUS when Collins claimed that Sims “didn’t hurt me!” in an interview with the Chicago Sun Times years after this fight. Sims rocked his ENTIRE world! 😂😂😂

As soon as you step up your chins tested and Collins chin wasn’t up to it.

Collins retired after this bout. Finally realised he didn’t gave the chin , strength and aggression for the “ pain game” I presume.

The thought was that he was way too weight-drained to be able to absorb punches at MW, and he should've moved up, but I can't remember if 168lbs was a legit division yet, or if it was a couple of years later.

I was dissapointed with John Collins because I thought he was going to become a greater Boxer than he was. However he did not do that bad..
