I've been working my butt off with 2 hour long intense workouts even beyond failure but didn't see much results or muscle gain because I was doing so much movement outside the gym. Now I'm going to do my best getting rid of the guilt of sitting down and focus on my career goals as well as shorter, effective sessions. This was a great inspo!
I am just going to make a suggestion! During the summer I found myself in your position to offset the movement outside the gym, I increased my calorie intake and as a result I saw growth. You should try that! Best of luck.
