Sandi, you said near the end of this video,,, "I'm sure that's what everyone is here for", in reference to the numbers of this lambing session. That comment really struck me! You genuinely have NO IDEA that it isn't WHAT you do but WHO YOU ARE that draws and keeps us returning to your page! It doesn't matter to me what your topic is to most. I really just come to spend time with you! You make my day so much brighter. I cry and laugh and think and learn with you. You truly are a gift. Thank you for allowing us in to your most loved part of your world. Outside of your family ofcourse lol. You even share them with us. Keep shining your light beautiful lady. I continue to pray I have the privilege of meeting you one day.

@@Teenywing yes they are cute. I asked why they are kept inside, have you? Maybe if it upsets you to know the final outcome of some of the animals you shouldn't watch the videos? From what I've seen these animals are treated very humanely. Noise? It may be noisy to us but to the animals it's communication. If they were stressed or not happy it would show in their behavior and health. Oh,I myself don't eat meat, haven't now for over a year and I will never again but I don't judge those that do. I can give is to find out everything you can about what her body can do and can't do. Don't assume anything. Ask questions of everything. I didn't know what questions to ask or who to ask. I suffered for it. However, today I am 71 and I have children. Praise God.

This is my childhood. When I watch you, I'm there... the sounds, and smells, and the exhaustion at the end of the lamb-birthing season.
Toxicity is deadly so often, but you have to try everything. You devote and invest your thought, and your time, and your effort, and your will into helping them recover. Sometimes you're so busy trying things and thinking of the next thing to try that they slip away from you, and it's a shock! I'm sorry you lost her.

Sandi, your video helped my heart a little bit today. We starting raising a few sheep 8 years ago as a retirement hobby, and loved it. My almost 74 year old husband is no longer able to continue, so we sold our last seven ewes this week. Makes me teary eyed just thinking about it. I will miss them, but watching your channel gives me my lamb fix. Thank you!

I am so in love with these lambs. Brown tipped ears, black tipped ear, panda-faced, freckled, solid black, solid brown, white with a top knot, smooth shiny white, cavalier King Charles-faced. Oh my gosh- I just want to snuggle them all. It's probably a good thing my legs are too short to get over the fences!!

Does flockwatch have anywhere to record when you lose a ewe ?
The miracle of birth for these lambs is always a blessing to watch, but this time it seemed especially precious. Watching some of them getting up so fast amazes me. Well done shepherdess Sandi !

That’s a really good question! Keeping data on all the flock is really important - selecting replacement ewes, should be from moms who had easy lambings, lots of milk, and excellent growth rates.
