    The air conditioning unit doesn’t provide heat, the furnace is at the front of the kitchen cabinet at the bottom. The vent fan in the bathroom can be used for general ventilation, not just when showering. You might want to consider getting a portable camp stove to use outside to complement the barbecue. We have one and use it more than the inside stove. One tip for Jake, keep your mouth closed when dumping the black water tank in case of splashes😉

      Some a/c units do, or did have small heating coils , but just for taking the chill off on cool days, but not cold days., when you need the furnace. I've never seen one on a wall though, is that normal now?

      @@brentwoodbay I wasn’t aware of that but I’ve also never seen a wall unit like that either, they’re usually roof mounted. Could be something new or just unique to that line.

    Great looking trailer! Great for two people! You have more counter space than we had in our 25 footer! You're MUCH better off to wait until your black tank is full before emptying it-avoids the 'Black Pyramid;! Your black tank gauge is often one of the first things not to work! Hopefully you can see inside from above when that happens. Flush the black , then the grey! to clean out the hose.!

    Beautiful Camper. First. The thing that rolls out from side and gives you shade is called an “Awning”.
    As far as your first Camping trip is concerned. Don’t forget the practical stuff. Like swim wear.
    Also I can’t help but think you are vastly ignoring the importance of the campfire.
    Get durable cookware for your camper. Stuff you know will not melt or go bad in or next to a campfire.

      It’s not camping without a fire. I cook most of our meat over the fire pit, hardly ever use the barbecue.

    • @brentwoodbay
      @brentwoodbay 2 года назад

      @@robertpearson8798 I dont know about Ontario as I've never RV'd there , but around here, most campgrounds here that have full hookups, don't have firepits. It will take them a while to figure out the differences between hook up and non hook up, and what you can or cannot do!

    • @robertpearson8798
      @robertpearson8798 2 года назад

      @@brentwoodbay I can’t really say since we’ve never stayed anywhere with full hookups. We go to Provincial parks (usually electrical only) and some Conservation Areas (electrical and water). I don’t think we’d stay anywhere with no fire pits if we had any choice at all.

    • @brentwoodbay
      @brentwoodbay 2 года назад

      @@robertpearson8798 Conservation areas sounds like Ontario? Very few of our Provincial parks have any kind of hookups! I was surprised though that Louise said that some things could run for short periods on battery. Must have a built in inverter?

    • @robertpearson8798
      @robertpearson8798 2 года назад

      @@brentwoodbay yes, Ontario. Most (or at least most that we’ve been to) of our Provincial Park campgrounds have at least some electrical hookups, none that I’ve been to have water. The Conservation areas we’ve been to have some sites with both, but both kinds of campgrounds have unserviced sites as well. Full hookup parks are usually privately run and are smaller with sites closer together so we don’t go to those ourselves.
