ANY "law" installed by the ATF is unconstitutional. Only congress has that power. ANY law regarding the peoples right to keep and bear arms IS unconstitutional. Get over it. The problem is they did not rule that it violated the second amendment. They should have denied it on those grounds,. But I guess take it any way we can get it.
The Founding Fathers wrote things down the same way that they spoke. "Shall not be infringed", seems pretty clear... even today. When is someone going to challenge the constiutionality of the NFA and the GCA ? Although I have no proof, I am reasonably certain that someone in colonial times, cut the barrel of a rifle or musket down, in order to make it more usable in a buggy or coach.
We are a fool to depend on any court to " give " us our rights. They could have just as easily ruled the other way. Machine guns should not be " illegal"
My Opinion (of Demonico/Rare Breed): IF you want mass support for your issue (which I do say is unjust ATF tyranny)? THEN MFG/Sell your product either 'at cost' or close to it. $250 for a trigger group = very large markup (a la Geissele, cuz they're like "we're geissele, its worth 5x other triggers cuz we said so"). If it costs $50 to MFG/Ship an FRT (and cover overhead/taxes), sell them for $55-60 (right now). IF you can sell 10-20mil (think number of braces out there); WELL doesn't matter IF SCOTUS sides w/ ATF that they are MGs...All that means = these [MGs] are now WIDELY used/possessed lawfully by US Citizens and can't be banned or have 'fees' imposed on it (you don't have a stamp for 1A rights). ^^^This is something no MFG did back before Miller case: IF they'd sold 1mil Thompsons back then (when pop was like 100mil) then the Miller test of 'Common Use' (IE Not 'Unusual' in 'Dangerous and Unusual') = NFA would have been repealed right away (as unconstitutional).... Want to take a hit for all Citizens? Sell it at cost until NFA is repealed...you can make $$$ later when NFA/GCA are gone (and everybody backs you for doing something that based).
