- Check out a very special DJ stream that I recorded last December in the Metro nightclub in Saltcoats (Ayrshire, Scotland) for my good friend Mallorca Lee and his clubbing brand - 1994.
The Metro was one of my first ever Saturday night local residencies that really helped to cement my name as a DJ in Scotland at the time, just as the whole trance explosion was happening around the world. It was such an incredible time for music, so I hope you enjoy listening to this set and can share some amazing memories with me from that extra special era!

Mark didn’t have a residence during the classic times of the metro!! 1998 the scene was dead well before that. Even by the time his band Casio Brothers came out (1996) the scene was already dead by then. 91 to 94/95 was the peak years for me. Although the trance scene around Europe and the Uk was still strong with Sasha Digweed & Oakenfold Nick Warren Tony De Witte Tall Paul etc were pretty much showing the way ahead for the new vibe but the Scottish scene wasn’t great anymore unless it was a colours event at the arches with all Those Djs mentioned. ✌️👍✌️

Excellent set, started going to the metro in about 1990, nothing beats a bit of Westbam, Wizards of the sonic 👍🏴💥🍻🥂
