Too drying. And they sent me the wrong color.
I can't stand ELF putty primer.
The Maybelline Fit me foundation matte & poreless.. It just feels and looks heavy on the skin and does not give me that flawless finish I was expecting.

The Laneige Lip Mask overly hyped. Dries my lips up so much.
I love the $9.99 Milani one. It’s rose but barely noticeable if you’re not a huge rose person. It’s a staple for me. I need to buy some back-ups as I’m afraid it’ll get discontinued. It’s 💣
Larger Evian water sprays can be found at Marshall’s or TJ Max for $7. I use it before I apply lotion and moisturizers to lock in more hydration. I also love to carry it with me on beach trips and cruise vacations.
For the oily girls: I use Danessa Myricks blurring balm powder in shade Translucent/Universal as a primer specifically in my t-zone. I get super oily regularly but when I use it as a primer… game changer!! Foundation lasts all day and I do not have to touch up. I will never not use this product!!

Does it mattify the skin or does it have a skin like finish?
@@shivangi3201 when I first apply it, it is a balmy finish. Wait a couple minutes and it dries down to a soft, powder-like finish.
I do this too in combination with my Charlotte tilbury setting spray
Agreed! This product was a game changer for my oily skin too. It really does make a difference! Some days I wear it I still need to touch up a bit but it’s not nearly as much as when I don’t use it. I get oily as hell literally an hour or less after I powder my face, I’m very very oily.

A product that everyone lovess but did not work for me is the hourglass stick foundation, looks so cakey on me, drying too, so textured, idk why but is not for me at all😅

I love these videos, it makes influencers feel more real. One product I've tried that alot of people loved is the este lauder doubt wear foundation. I have very dry skin and it clumped and pealed on my face. I tried it with two different powders and primers and moisturizers under it and no mater what I did I got the same result. I will be sticking with my ilmakiage foundation from now on
I know right! Love these types of videos! 😊💯 Girl, you are not alone! I’ve wanted to love the Estée Lauder Double Wear for years, but it’s too drying and accentuates peach fuzz on my face that I never can see with any other foundation! It’s bizarre. I’m not down with walking around looking like a fuzzy peach. LOL 😂

Loved the video Laura! As always super informative and honest ❤ the product that didn’t work for me unfortunately was the Makeup Forever oily skin primer. I have extremely oily skin and this made my skin beautiful Mayte but when I tried to layer foundation, powder concealer or really anything over it would just be super blotchy. I tried using barely any and a couple different recommendations and nothing worked. Now I use smash box primer for oily skin and I’m in love!

I appreciated you saying they didn’t work for you but here’s why. I love the Elf brightener bc it’s so light and doesn’t do much, it makes it great for everyday for me. I can just put a bit of the elf flawless concealer on, some mascara and brows

Love all your videos. A product that surprisingly didn't work for me was the rare beauty illuminating primer.
I like that you give honest reviews! I did not like the NYX bare with me blur tint soft matte foundation. It just didn't sit well on my skin. It was too matte on me. I also had difficulty finding a good shade. But I do like the bare with me hydrating face and body concealer serum.
The shades were all orange(y) on me

Laura, I just have to comment on your the quality of your videos. The sound quality is the best of all the people I wath, and I'm retired, so I watch a LOT of RUclips!! Of course the lighting, background and picture quality are just perfection in my book. As for a product that did NOT work for me, it has to be the newest foundation from Shiseido. People were reaving about it, and the first time I tried it I had to wash it off!!

The physicians formula heart blushes are literally the ones I use and I love them! Have used them like 100 times and still look the same! Will still be using them since I love’em! 😊

The Sheglam mascara is a nightmare to take off! I cant wear it only for that reason. The rare beauty mascara is hands downs the best mascara I have ever used!

Well, it’s not so much that it doesn’t work on me. It doesn’t work for me the way I want it to and that’s It cosmetics cc cream. It’s almost too heavy for me and when I put it on my nose it separates that’s it.💋💄☺️🥰

One thing that did not work for me that everyone seemed to love was the Essence Lash Princess mascara! It's always so interesting what works for others and how differently it works on your own skin.

Hear me out ! The Evian water spray is a GAME CHANGER for the beach !! When your face is super salty/sandy it’s suck a nice refresh if you hate the feeling of sand
Just get a mister! You can fill them up with water of distilled water, much cheaper!
Product that didn’t work for me is the Maybelinne Instant Rewind concealer. It dried out my mature under eyes so much 🤢. Also the Revolution sponge tip highlighters in bright pink. Those suckers dry down so fast! You HAVE to put it on the back of your hand and use a damp sponge to apply it very lightly and quickly. So, I don’t see the point of having that sponge tip if you can’t apply it directly to the skin anyway 🤷🏻♀️
This was a great video I don’t like the duo eyelash adhesive it does not work for me but I’ll take recommendations I want to get into my lashes but don’t know the products also the recommendations you gave for makeup were soooooo gooood thank u Laura 🙏🏽 ❤

I love the Evian spray for my skincare to redampen my skin between products. You can usually find the larger version for cheap at Marshall’s
Laura is queen! Love her! I have had a love/hate relationship with primers. One that I had loved ended up not working after I had been using it for a while, it was the Benefit Porefessinal. I have been using Stila One Step Correct Brightening and Correcting Primer. It's been 4 years and it's my ride or die primer. My face is always flawless with it. Smooth and pores shrunk. ✌️

I love the Mario foundation and I'm an oily girl! It's just so pretty. You see the sparkle in the bottle but not when it goes on, which is cool!
The one product that DOES NOT work for me, that everyone raves about is the ABH Brow Freeze.
I don’t know if I’m just not using it right, or my hairs are just too bushy. But they immediately fall as soon as I apply it.
I don’t even like how it looks, however my brows are super patchy due to overplucking. But it just does not keep my brow hairs in place and it won’t even let me fill in my brows before or after cause it acts like a barrier to the pencil.
with the brow freeze, i usually use the nyx brow pen and then take a really small amount of the ABH and brush it through after and it works for me like that!

The Physician's Formula regular blushes are a much better quality than those with an overspray, but most blushes with an overspray are the same. I struggled with the ELF eye brightener concealer, it did nothing for me and the pen ran out quickly. The YSL and Neutrogena versions are higher quality, although they are both at a higher pricepoint.
Could you do a video talking about your fav skincare for each category? Cleansers, Serums, Retinals, etc😊 I would love that😍❤️

The Evian spray and Avene helps soooo much for my rosacea especially before or after my skincare but I can't bring myself to purchase it 😂
Taking Spironolactone (prescription medication) really helped my rosacea -- just sayin'.
I bet you could buy a mister or an old setting spray bottle and just put water in it and it would work the same!!!

My product that didn’t work for me, and others really love, is Milk eye primer. I ended up with red, angry, peeling and rough patches. No other eye primer has ever done that. I think it’s great other people love it, I’m sticking with Tatcha and Vasanti. 💗 I love the idea of adding our regrets to the list.

I like the Avene spray water instead of Evian, esp for use w/ skin care In between steps to keep my skin hydrated & also when my skin is dry/cracked, inflamed, peeling, itchy & irritated etc. - the Avene one has unique supposedly skin soothing microbes & minerals from the spring the water it is derived from- and a lot of ppl w/ rosacea & eczema find it helps the irritation and even an itchy scalp…
Otherwise, a continuous spray bottle from Amazon and some water will do the same thing if U like it for utilitarian uses. But the Avene products are all nice.

I bought that happy booster blush a few weeks ago and I totally agree it’s a gimmick - and it literally shattered in a million pieces from being in a plastic storage turntable with no impact whatsoever 😂 it also had WAY too much glitter
Charlotte Tilbury bronze & glow palette! I wanted to love it, but I have to layer and layer the bronze shade and it still doesn’t have much pigmentation!
I got the rare beauty brighter but I didn’t know it was for over concealer. That actually makes since and I will try it tomorrow

I live in Florida and the Evian would be nice for those hot summer days at a car show or outdoor concert but you could also just carry a spray bottle with a fan. I haven't been able to get into the Fenty powder foundation. It makes my skin too dry to use it all over but as a light setting powder it's okay.
