    would be nice for you to walk us thru the hook up and bench testing the computer would be a great learning tool for us trying to get started

      I could do that. It would primitive as he'll though. I dont have fancy bench equipment. Just enough to get the job done. 😉

    I'm still struggling with the concept that most places don't seem to be able to do this stuff....why?

      There's no short answer to that question...there are a huge number of reasons why some workshops don't do electrical diagnostics, programming and repairing of electrical issues. Lack of training, lack of equipment, lack of information, lack of skilled staff, etc,etc,etc.
