These are great! You might want to add that Fisher was new to town and had new ideas about teaching so thats why she acted that way.
It's not just that she is new in town. She's from Winston County, Alabama, a county that chose to support the Union during the Civil War and she also is a brand new teacher with no practical teaching experience other than what she learned in college. New ideas about teaching are helpful, if combined with the right form of classroom management and she doesn't understand her students.
