I know this is an old video but I love the cutlass. I have a 83 hurst that I’m starting this year and this is the color I want versus the 2 tone that they came with. I like all the touches and customizations u did as well. No over kill just taking the stock stuff and upgrading it a little, and it’s perfect in my opinion. People don’t understand that u can over customize or do too much and it takes away from the car but not this one. If it’s alright with you, I’m definitely gonna use ALOT of your ideas!! The only thing I want to do different is upgrade my 307 engine to a custom built olds 327 and modernize the fuel system and some other things like one belt serpentine system and a bigger cam as well, along with light weight internals. Awesome car man. 👍🏾
Omg, she's a beauty. I miss my '83. I had a '87 nose and tail lights on it; nobody could tell it was an 83 except for the missing third brake light. You couldn't tell the car was running it was so quiet inside. I worked for NAPA at the time so everything was new even the 231 V6. This car is bad ass.
Love the car, I love olds cutlass had a couple 75 cutlass was my first car,my Dad had the first 66 Tornado when I was a kid and a Stafire and a host of Oldsmobiles.
Thanks! I'm running stock length Moser 30 splines now with F body rear disc brakes. It actually moved the wheels out a tad. With the 17x8 and 4.5" backspace I have at least 3/4" clearance to the frame.
@@injectedcutty awesome! Thanks for the reply! I planned on doing a rear disc conversion on mine, I’m not sure if that will make too much of a difference. Im honestly just trying to find a wider size that will fit without any rubbing!
@@deadcat_dcp my buddy Cory has vette brakes all around on his Monte and it stops way better than the stock setup! I'm running front brakes from a 2000 Blazer too. I actually measure the mounting flange of the rear rotor to the frame and it was 5-1/2"
Holy cow amazing attention to detail the only thing I would have left would have been the air conditioning and not deleted that or the heater idk what climate your in but you cant tell me you dont wish yoh had one or the other from time to time but bro that car is crazy stupid just over the top done so perfectly who sands the damn letters and numbers off the taillight covers and shit lol a little OCD are we but at least you put it to good use bro again in case you missed it that car is the fucking bomb bro
Beautiful car, and by far the most thorough restoration I've ever seen. But yanking the Olds motor and going with a Chevy is like finding out that your wife slept with a black man. A reman 403 Olds longblock is a ridiculously affordable platform to work with an make ridiculous power.
Lol thanks! It's had a Chevy engine since 2003ish. Back then I was young and Olds engines were significantly more to have built right compared to now. The original plan was a 403 or 455, but it was cost prohibitive for a 19 year old.
Absolutely sick man. I had an 84 supreme brougham back in the day 97-2000ish.. Good memories 🍻

Nice custom Cutlass! The Protouring Style Set up. I love the chrome deletion.

Thanks for the compliments, its been a road of ups and downs, but happy have it to this point. Hope to upgrade some things soon.
Hospital Clean,...attention to detail,..and the fact you know every inch of the car and how it operates,.....etc,...thats the best.
One of them cars that's gonna be a crazy find in 20 years
Awesome under the hood ! Everything else is just as nice . The interior is bomb .

She's a beaut 😍

Thanks, check my other videos. Also on IG under @injectedcutty
Beautiful car with no a/c
Nice build! I’m currently starting to build an 87 Cutlass Supreme. Just curious if you had to shorten the axles to fit the wider wheels?

@@injectedcutty hm thanks for the info! I’ll have to look into it more!
Very Nice
Thanks!
Is that Intake available for purchase
Get with @customintakedesigns on IG. That's my buddy Guy Smith who works for Spectre/K&N. He can help you build what you need.
🔥
I don't know if I missed it, but how much did this cost?
Not sure exactly. I've had this car since 2001 and quit counting in 2006ish lol. I roughly have close to $30K tied up, maybe more.
If you mean the LS swap alone, that was around $10K the way I did it. The swap can be done much less expensive.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Gangster ass car
Thanks 💪!
Do you know the part number or link for the headers I got the flowtec from speedway motors and they hit the steering shaft
Mine are speed engineering #25-1025. I had to ding them in a couple spots, but overall they fit and look great!

Thank you! Yeah ditching the hvac was the dumbest thing....I was young. Luckily Vintage Air has a kit now for G bodies, it's pricey though.
What zise rims and tires?
225/50/17 front and 255/45/17 rear
Looks a little bit like the Batmobile of the batman the animated series

I don't think this 87 Olds ever can be a California car on account of the smog modification.
It for sale
Wack should of kept the olds engine or at least throw a 403 in her
