Hi! Loved this video, great playing and amazing sound! I am on the verge of buying two of these cabs, but there is this one thing holding me back: will it be loud enough? I have an 8x10 cab for the largest scenes. And that's it. I want a set of smaller cabs that will handle every other live situation, and these look portable and sound great. But will they be loud enough for say, a room with 200 people? 300 people? More than that and I will probably take my 8x10 cab with me. Thanks!
Not my style of playing by any means, but you brought me in with Old P basses and I am glad I stayed. You have some beautiful instruments and they sound stellar.
@@realbasslessons9356 Bassolutely. Any instrument sounds differently played by someone else. And you've got a proper sound, and a pro of course. And a great teacher by the way. Keep up the great work!
Awesome basses and playing, as always. Is that Burgundy Mist the original finish, or a refin? Love that color either way, it's one you don't see around enough.
The Mr Rogers of bass players. Great video and amazing basses.
Yep, that IS a great sound. I'm going to have to check out those LaBella tapewound stings. I especially enjoyed your enthusiasm : )
PJB kit is the business. I run two C4 and two 4B cabs. Particularly nice for vintage P bass tones because of the clarity they give.
Your pushing that fat low end and it sounds great. Love the Fenders!

Beautiful
Thank you sir, I enjoyed that very much!
You are welcome. :)
Sounds fantastic, Jim! 😀
Thanks. :)
You’ve piqued my interest in tapewound strings. I’m sure I could find a spare P bass to put them on 🤓

They sound so tasty!
Thanks, priceless old classic basses, and outstanding quality reproduction with the Phil Jones rig.
Real Bass Lessons Your fingers are the most important factor. The set up is neat of course. 😀
@@adamgordon Glad you noticed. ;)

Refinish.
I got one that has 58 on neck 59 on body and serial number says 60.
You can hear the cab already farting at these low volumes. Why anyone would buy these kid toys, I have no idea.
