I have dry thick hair and I saw TDM Style’s review who claims to have dry hair and he says he got no dryness from this but I did get quite a bit of dryness from this. The texture is great though, it truly is a matte paste, no added shine AT ALL. The hold is decent but nothing crazy.
For me I get the best result using a bit as a pre styler then blow dry my hair and then I add a bit more. Overall this is a solid product in my opinion and I pretty much agreed with everything you said. 7-7.5/10
This has quite a bit of grip in my hair but most products do, but still one of my go-tos. I saw that they recently re-released their American gardens after reformulation claiming it is now their driest and strongest product yet.
Did you try it out? Would love know how the application is compared to Northern lights.

It's essentially a modern crop haircut / mushroom cut. You need a specific hairline to make it look good though so be careful

@@SlickBackSunday thanks man I watched a video again I didn't see any comparison from the old formulation to the new formulation regarding hold you did compared however to gray ghost, arcadian paste and clay ..but thanks anyway your videos are getting better good luck
