I'm starting to doubt Ate Arah. I was planning to pursue it in DLSU if ever I got in and thinking how expensive it could get, I'm starting to get scared. I don't even have any financial support if ever I fail or be delayed so failing or adding more years to it would suffer me and my family. I'm also not a smart student so taking this course can be challenging. I hate science tbh, I sometimes sleep on it. I ain't good at memorization or studying at all, but the thought that I want to help animals and myself from losing pets just because I don't know what to do and I don't have the money for it to instantly bring it to a clinic, made me want to learn and be a pro vet doc someday so I'll give hope and chance to every helpless animal out there. But, the doubt is much bigger now than the courage of doing it. I honestly don't have any options other than this ‘cause I actually want to be a Pilot B U T we all know how freakin' expensive becoming a Pilot too! Everything I want is so expensive and hard that I now don't have any option left that I'd love to get.
Experiencing the same struggle, I even wanted to be a pilot at first too but realizing my health can't handle it to handle a plane is already a big no. We can do this!
same like my plan right now is to pursue my family wants after ko maka graduate and makabawi sa kanila, mag-iipon ako to pursue my biggest dream which is to becoming a vet doc
Finally i found a vet vlogger, i am currently a 2nd year and my favorite tip would be getting rest in your spare time. I always overdo things and nasa isip ko lagi na "sayang yung oras pag natulog ako, gagawa nalanga ko activities and magbabasa basa" but luckily I was able to adjust that behavior and natutunan ko na Rest is super duper important T^T and mas magandang may plenty of rest ka para healthy yung pagrereview and all. Thanks for all the tips ♡
Gustong gusto ko talaga mag VetMed like I can really see myself in the future being a licensed veterinarian, 'di ko lang alam kung kaya ng budget jusq. I am trying to apply to all the schools near me who offers VetMed kaso grades ko din mabababa, pahirapan panigurado hehe. Sana talagaaaa maqualify ako sa mga state univs. 😢

I know you've been hearing this a lot like what you said on your video butttt, you're really my inspiration as to why I wanna pursue vet in college. 🥺 The moment I watched one of your vet vlogs before, para akong nagkaro'n ng awakening HAHAHA. Before I was considering human med but I don't like interacting with people (HAHA peace) so I was skeptical with it. Then I wanted pursue something related to politics but I feel like it's not for me... I also thought of taking engineering or architecture but feel ko rin hindi match sa linya ko. I want my course and career to be medical-related because it's my forte and I'm fond of animals. I even have a goal related to stray animals and those who suffers injustice. In short, vetmed lang talaga ang gusto kong i-take because I know it could help me in many ways! Anyway, thank you for the tips, ate Arah! The one I like the most is "expect failures". I'm a competitive person and I tend to feel bad whenever I make a mistake so this tip is really helpful for me hehe.

I considered to take human med kahit si mami sabi sakin na mag nursing daw ako, pero ewan ko ba, I have this feeling deep inside me na hindi ako sa field na yon or let's just say ayoko, which is treating humans ganorn. 🥲 So ayon, since I also super duper love animals and I wanna know them more, I chose vet med! Sa tuwing pumupunta kami sa vet clinics naiinspire ako huhu. Alam mo yung ano parang calling siya ganon 😭 Gustong-gusto kong makalibot ng mundo para lang matulungan yung mga hayop na nangangailangan ng tulong, and most importantly to defend those animals who are being mistreated by these inhumane people. Those animals doesn't deserve it and I'll gladly fight for their lives and rights. Iba talaga ang attachment ko sa vet med kahit mag-isip pa ko ng ibang courses huhu. Honestly, vetmed is my childhood course. Wala lang talagang sapat na pera kaya napunta ako sa ibang course but until now gusto ko pa rin mag vetmed. I'm planning to attend vetmed soon pero medyo kabado ako dahil 6 years nga tas kapag bumagsak pa baka 7 years or more pa itatagal ko dun. Baka 30 years old na ako, nag-aaral pa rin. Nakakatakot haha.

Ang alam ko depende sa course/subject description, if same sila then pwede icredit. Pero much better ask mo sa registrar’s office.
