I don't think I've ever heard a cover played so accurately, brilliant.
Every time I see how Ian’s riffs are played I’m reminded how much of an absolute beast he is.
This song is not as easy as it sounds, it's my favourite from Billy Talent to jam to :) Great job on the very clean playing!

Even before I knew how to play I knew Ian from BT was on some crazy melodic shit. His high headroom single coil found and baroque punk riffing really captivated!

I said it once, and I’ll say it again. Despite Ian playing a strat on stage, I honestly think he uses a tele when they’re recording, the teles sound so damn accurate to the album version of every one of their songs when they’re covered, I’m learning this suffering right now and it sounds so accurate.

He actually uses a Tele for most of their songs but in the beginning of pins and needles he uses a Fender Jazzmaster.

How do you isolate the vocals, bass, drums etc… to play guitar over the track?
I don't :D I just turn up the volume of my recorded guitar parts and use the original song.

Learned this song fingerstyle out of habit and when I watched live videos of it I completely forgot that Ian D’sa plays everything with a pick and I absolutely refuse to relearn the song with a pick 🥲

Der erste Akkord ist ein Ebadd9 meines Wissens nach. Also 6. Bund auf der A Saite, 5. auf der D Saite, offene G Saite, und die B und E Saiten auf dem 6. Bund.
Der zweite Akkord ist ein Gm7. E, A und D Saite auf dem 5. Bund, G Saite offen und wieder B und E Saite auf dem 6. Bund.

Umm... I think I do, but it won't make a big difference since the open G string just adds another octave.
