Love the series ! The only suggestion I would have is putting text on each clip identifying which film the clip is from. There have been tons of clips I would love to see more of, if I only knew what film it was from. Keep up the great work !
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve considered putting the film’s title under each clip, but many of the clips are pretty quick and I think it would be distracting. On a few of my videos I have put the film titles under the Closed Captioning (CC) that RUclips provides. I think that works pretty well, but it is time-consuming to do. I originally started doing these videos for some friends who like to play ‘guess the movie’, so after a few days or so I would then list all the films under “See More”. But enough of that. From now on, I’ll post the film titles, in the order they appear, under “See More” when I post the video. And, when time allows, I’ll try to do the Closed Captioning too. Hope that works for now. Thanks again. Cheers!
@@michiganjfrog Sounds awesome ! I will go back and rewatch the previous episodes with the CC on to see if that fills in some of the blanks. There was an earlier one of Miriam Hopkins in a swimsuit on the beach that I'm still trying to sort out. Again, great job, you are one of my fave channels on YT.
@@barbarabenson3245 Wow, thank you so much! There are only two or three with the CC, but I promise to try and add more. I think the Hopkins' swimsuit film is Fast and Loose (1930). A pretty good film, although the print I have is in bad shape. Again, thank you and filmex Lawson for your kind words about the series. I was thinking about calling it a day after this, but now, maybe not. Cheers!
Another great group of clips! Have you thought any more about doing a book? I have so many clips, notes, etc., but I don't know how to put it all together. I wish someone would do a book.
3:30 "I picked Roy up on Waterloo Bridge" - what's the movie, please?
@@the_lost_navigator The film is Waterloo Bridge (1931).
0:32 What did she almost say?
🤗💞🤗
0:40 That is famous "fan dancer" Sally Rand, being martyred in the Colosseum from "The Sign of the Cross (1932).

"well, you've aroused my savage instinct!"
Thanks K.
Excellent. It was a sad day when the prudish "code" police got their way.

A lot of loaded lines!
