When I was in Elementary School, I remember one of the Y.M.C.A. Program counselors asked me what I wanted Santa to bring me that year. I told her I wanted a LEGO Captain Cutler (as I was obsessed with LEGOs and Scooby Doo when I was little, especially the original cartoons and the live action films). Needless to say if they made a series like this I would go out and get all of them immediately.

I think sales for the theme were under-whelming at the time. But in the years since its only grown in popularity. Playmobil have been doing a lot with the license and it seems to be selling well. Hopefully LEGO will take note!
