What an idiot who doesn't know anything about the ball. Caitlin is a three-point shooter who creates opportunities off the dribble and leads the ncaaw in three-point shooting. Shooting is not only the hit rate, which has a lot to do with production and shooting difficulty. Caitlin was first in total and average, and had two buzzers in his college career with the step-back three-point shot. paige is better at mid-range shooting, most of her three-pointers are open spot shots, and she doesn't even rank in the ncaaw's top 100 in production per game.@@marcusb.3038

@@IndianOutlaw1870 nobody uses pure shooting percentage to judge the best player in the country, if they did it would be Te-Hina Paopao not Paige. Caitlin is beating Paige is every other stats category - including rebounds when Paige is playing the 4 and Caitlin is playing the 1

Clark just shoots the ball 25+ times a game. If she shot as often as Paige, she'd be a 17pt a game player with no diversity in her O and no game on D. No one woukd be talking about her at all. There are 50 players who'd avg 30 a game with 25 attempts. Clark is in the 80 percentile (meaning 20% of all players are higher) in fg % and 85th in 3pt %( so 15% of players shoot better from 3). Solid numbers, but top 20% isnt even close to AA and is light years from superstardom, especially considering her D. Paige is in the 98th percentile in Fg % ( 100 for guards) and 99th for 3s, and on the short list for DPOY, the best passer of her generation, the most clutch player since DT, and willing to play 4 to nurse maid a bunch of freshmen. She's in a different league.

@@cbrend22 You have to be kidding. If Clark was also playing in the Big East and barely getting guarded because she has other dominant players, her efficiency would be as high as Paige's. Not to mention Paige might be efficient but she's averaging 12 less points and they have basically the same efg%. And Paige has not been able to score that efficiently against top teams - she's about 35% against top opponents. Caitlin is nearly 60/40/80. That's highly efficient. So no, not any player would be able to score as much as she does. And in no way is she on the shortlist for DPOY, she can't guard anyone. And nobody would say she's more of a clutch player than Caitlin - how many buzzer beater threes has CC hit vs Paige?
