Using any of the G-code streaming PLC available in market? 1) How can We configure such a PLC to read G-codes from a USB Drive plugged in to it and send motion signals to Servo drives 2)Example:- a basic Square pocket with X,Y and Z interpolation movements to carve that Pocket. 3) The G-Codes from any CAM program like Autodesk Fusion360 with suitable post processor for the PLC 4)How to Display the 3 axis on a HMI Screen with realtime DRO, Reading and stuff (Just Like Mach3 CNC GUI Screenset by Mr.Physics Anonymous) I know it is a vast area. But Can you Breakdown the Concepts in Configuring the Controller to Read G-Codes and execute Motion Commands to Servo packs .! Also Please consider Connecting and configuring Servo packs to the controller as well. Thank you David. It depends, if you have some background in computer science/programming and you are willing to spend 4-5 hours/day following the roadmap, you should be able to complete the roadmap in less than a year.

As much as I'd love a free 6 month mentor program I have not even taken trigonometry in college and I'm a 29 year old man... I'd actually have to remind myself of college algebra basically I probably wouldn't even be on the knowledge level to be a beginner in a mentorship so I am trying to do it on my own as best as I can. It's good to know I don't have to know circuits to get to learn PID!

Hi Andy and Thank you for your comment. Modeling the system/plant which uses dynamics is part of the control system design. However, this is what usually Control Engineers (Rob Mech Eng or Rob EE) do.
Can you make video regarding on hardware we must have in every level of competency in robotic fields and, if possible, in ML? I think that would also be good for us newbies
