The Popple puppets sure were adorable and I loved the music video! I’ve seen the movie and the cartoons that were made in the 80s! Not to mention I saw the Netflix version, but if you ask me I think the creatures are better in their original form! Who knows, maybe someone will give these legendary characters another chance!
The crazy thing is, I really loved Popples when I was a kid, and looked forward to watching it every Sunday morning, especially the second season with the rock star Popples, and I remember thinking at the time how cool it would be if they made a live action movie of the Popples - totally unaware that it started out as a live action special! I was completely unaware of this live action special until I bought the complete series on DVD a few years ago!
Truthfully, I didn't even know there was a second season until the mid 2000's myself. Not my cup of tea, to tell you the truth, but different strokes for different folks.

omfg, my mom recorded this off Fox in '86 when i was 3. I had the one that turned into a basketball.
I had mine at Chuck E. Cheese. I don't think we had a Showbiz Pizza in my area. At least not that I remember.
