I Love This! I made the bracelet and loved it so I took my left over beads and made a focal using one component. I will try this one using different beads.

Super tutorial! Thank you. A lot of work but worth it! I made it in two shades of white for the summer. Not as bold as yours but the design is fantastic!Again,very clear and easy to follow tutorial.

The component is SO difficult for me! I keep getting lost. I've started over countless times. I thought practicing my different stitching over years would help but I'm still getting lost. :(
Please... Does anyone have any suggestions or tips for me to conquer this? Being in one color and it is flipped and turned around many times makes keeping up very difficult for me. It's no doubt my learning disabilities hindering me from being successful. I don't want anyone misinterpreting.

This is fun to make and your tutorial is very clear - thank you so much. Could you/or anyone please tell me the link size of the chain used.
1. After fiddling with it I realized a couple of rows were skipped in the video in the interest of shortening its length (along 9:12 or so). If anyone has the problem of the sides of the 11/0 beads not matching up, just logically look at your piece and anticipate where the decreases are supposed to take place rather than following the actual video.
2. I was using a 6lb Fireline but found a monofilament works better because it doesn't weave so tightly and can be folded over easier.
3. Someone mentioned slowing the video down. Just go into your Settings at the bottom of the video screen and slow the speed down from Normal to 0.75 or .05 or whatever you can manage. The same will apply for the bracelet video since it's the same stitch :-}
4. Now for MY problem....Once completed, the necklace didn't seem to drape properly. The top row of beads seemed to sag when it was on. I kept the monofilament for beading the components but then used actual beading wire to string it all together. I could see some of the wire between the components so I used red 11/0 seed beads on each side of the red 8mm beads because they sort of got sucked into / alongside the triangles and hid the gap of the wire. I used a couple tiny gold crimp beads on the side the wire didn't loop around to secure the wire. The pattern is very pretty!
