I fly this route round-trip about 4 times a year up front in Polaris. The crew can & does make a difference in the overall quality of the flight.

I know that Lufthansa pays flight attendants, and I think pilots too, a kind of "pocket money" for the layover. I know that it's called Spesen in German. Does United do the same or do you get any extra money for the layover for like food?
