This is the bass part presumably for singing in a choir. Not all choristers can carry a long note easily, and their section will commonly practice staggered breathing; the note sounding continuous to the listener. Probably not fair to compare this rendition with a solo performance. His pronounciation is clear, notes and timing are spot on, which is what we bass singers are looking for. Then again, there are a lot of flats in this piece, so your one flat will probably go unnoticed 😏.
