We are just one vaccine away from millions of people keeping adorable skunks as family members.
I would love more people to know skunks for the peaceful creatures that they are.
I spend time with wild skunks almost every night and I never think about getting sprayed. I’m not going to be sprayed because I know what makes a skunk feel like they have to spray… and I don’t do those things.
My dream is to legally own a skunk in California, someday.

The psychedelic colors were a filter or worse. Yellow, orange, white, brown, black, red, purple and green are all of the colors I know, and not in neon colors like that.

My school has three leopard geckos and they’re easy to work with. But to have a reptile you, especially a snake or a lizard, you need a lamp that produces UV-light in their terrarium and a moist, dark cave so they can shed.

Something I didn't know when I got a bearded dragon is that they like to poop outside of their enclosure, so give them some time in a plastic box or something before letting them run around on the floor.
Leopard geckos on the other hand like to poop in a corner of their cage like cats.

My mother basically owns a big farm for my dad’s tarantulas, my crested geckos, my beardie, and my sisters soon to be baby leopard gecko. The farm has mealworms, beetles, super worms, hornworms, and dubia roaches.

My leaped gecko can’t have lamp eat on the top but it has to have heating pad at the lowest setting it helps digest there food so if your lepord geckos no eating I recommend putting a heating pad under the incubator
My girl mollis is the sweetest little bean, I handle her somewhat frequently I’ll take her out at around 6-8pm when the sun goes down for 15-20mins a day and I will lay my hand in front of her and wait for her to come to me, I always say her name in a soft tone before putting my hand in and she’s learned to associate my voice with being picked up so she enjoys the heads up and willingly walks onto my hand knowing I’m not a predator, she’s full of life loves to explore and will study things she’s finds interesting but for some reason she really doesn’t like my water bottle, u like to draw and so I’ll take her cave and set it on my desk and let her run around but idk if it’s the colour maybe the shape but she wags her tail at it slowly and arches her back a bit kinda daring it to do something, but other then that the worst she’s ever gonna do to you is *croak* or other weird little gecko noises and it’s when she’s done being handled (I think it’s sweet she’s found a way to tell me okay I’m done I want to go back to my house please”

My female will paw at the glass when she wants out or if she wants food, my male gecko just looks at the top of his tank and then to me until i pick him up, my female loves being pet from her snout to the base of her tail,

Both are rescues, my female weve had for 2 years, my male weve had for a couple weeks, the previous owners put his tank outside for his uv even during the winter😢

My male gecko was under so much stress at his previous home and hes dropped his tail and aparently he wasnt that active AT ALL but since we took him in hes active everytime people are moving around or he wants pets, and in the mornings he wants out for cuddle time-v- we just put him on our chest and put a blanket over him as hes currently sharing a heatlamp with my femake gecko as our rent and power went up alont with grocery costs so we havent been able to get him his own heat lamp yet,

Leopard geckos are pretty much never wild caught. There is an excess available in captivity due to them being so popular. You can't make money catching wild ones really.

And be prepared to do a ton of research before getting them. There are so many conflicting information out there and many things still unknown. I know there are more difficult reptiles to take care of, but I don't like that leos are always advertised as an easy pet. Owning a reptile will always require a lot of care and dedication if you want to provide them the care they deserve
