Hi I'm ranDom person, I’m probably late but for anyone else who needs it: First click the third button on the left, the square button. Next, at the very top, you’ll see another square along with a lot of other shapes. Click the square and drag your cursor to form any size box or rectangle

So, I followed along with your tutorial, and I'm getting used to the different tools! This was super helpful, and I only ran into one problem.
When I'm using a tone, and then I want to put another tone in the panel bellow it, it always goes to the layer beneath the one that was selected. I'm not really sure why, but I suppose it isn't the biggest issue to run into. Like, I can probably just work around it.
Whatever the case, this really did help me, and I appreciate the time you put in to making it.
This is by far one of the better tutorials I've come across. I'm new to digital art, so, learning how to do it can be a little daunting, but, now I feel much more confident in using this program.
Sorry for the long winded comment, I just really wanted to show my appreciation.

Finaly.
Before I found MediBang I was discouraged and didn’t think I had good enough drawing talents
My art is still pretty bad but I’m now drawing the first chapter of my new manga
I think the wrong approach some artists have before making a comic is telling themselves, they aren't good enough.
If you have an idea or story to share, draw it, regardless of your skills.
As you continue to draw, your skills will improve and strengthen.

How would I specifically put the text into the speech bubble (or thought) so that it fits
and also, how would i move certain parts of the drawing around
Toongamer Well you can adjust the space and font size of the text, and then moving that layer over the speech bubble so it appears on top.
As for moving certain parts of the draw- you can use the wand tool to select, then transform (Ctr/command + t) and move/adjust the drawing.

Hello, thank you this is very helpful. When I add images to the border screen it goes over the border lines. Is there a way to prevent from doing this so it automatically cuts off at the border, or do I have to manually erase parts of the image that overlaps onto the borders? Thanks. : )
John Coctostan Hi John,
When making the borders: you should create a new layer for them. Then when adding your images, make sure they are beneath the borders layers.
If you need more help, you can DM me on IG. Then I can help you further in depth. Hope this helps!
It's selection tool (name may vary). There comes like diffent shapes like circle, boxes, or lasso for free shapes. So if you want to add or place an image in a panel, you first select that panel using selection tool (the box one or lasso). Then point the cursor from one of the corners of the panel and move it [cursor] so that you will select the entire panel. Then after that add the image. It will automatically cut the image to the size of the panel so that you don't need to erase the excess or overlapping part of the image manually. (Ik this reply is so so late 😭)

You can press the hand in the menu bar, or if you want to scroll up and down use the up and down arrows on your keyboard.
