do you sometimes yearn for non-existence? why is it that the desire to not exist is so common in our day and age? here, i offer an alternative perspective - one of connection rather than separation from existence.

I have TOTALLY felt the desire to not exist, really makes me feel better to see other people experience this as well. Such a weird feeling, like I don’t want to live but also thinking of killing myself or just dying also doesn’t feel right. Like I never should’ve been. Love how you speak and describe things, thank you for this video much!! ❤ I love you because I love me ahhhhhhh!!!!!!

This may sound odd but thank you man. You definitely changed my perspective on a lot of things. I’m one of those people you used to not understand. Sometimes I wish I just never existed or that I could just disappear. I want to be more whole and feel better but i didn’t know how. But I’m really listen to what you’re saying and I’m gonna truly try and become one with certain aspects of my life and try and coexist with everything. I have been off social media for awhile at least most except yt, but I deleted all my social media accounts due to me feeling kind of bitter to people as a whole. I made a new google account to make this comment, I just felt that you deserved a thank you for making a video like this because i needed to head this at this time.

I’ve had this thought a few times in my life. I’ve had thought so real and genuine that maybe it actually happens, who knows. But then all of a sudden there’s that moment of realization. It’s real. No matter how much I hate reality I keep coming back for more apparently 😂
We’re all just a thing that’s happening and wishing ourselves the best. Just combing through the noise, and finding meaning where we can and for some reason we’ll keep doing it, forever!

9:42 - 10:06 this is actually very good. I have a physics background, I'm currently on the last year of my PhD. I was relating what you said here back to quantum field theory, and yes, we really are fundamentally wave excitations in the quantum field. This made me wonder if it's actually correct to equate existence with the quantum field, and I think it may be. Fascinating insights, thank you!

thank you for sharing this video!! it really resonated with a lot of thoughts I've been having recently :) I've been playing with the idea that we, as well as all things, exist in our varied forms as manifestations of beauty in different macro/micro levels (Like the leaf, the tree, the forest, etc.) I have a number of thoughts on the subject, but I'll keep it brief here lol
I just think this idea of oneness and unity that you're touching on really clicked with me, particularly in that the "tapestry" of the present moment would take on a more literal semantical meaning by this conception. Our consciousness (in an ego-self sort of way) is defined and limited by our knowledge, especially in the sense of our understanding of concepts and words, and I appreciate you bridging the gap between these higher cognitive concepts and everyday life.
I really liked when you said "when you hear a chord, a triad of notes... it creates a whole greater than the sum of its parts," because I initially heard it as "accord"-- I think the entendre was also powerful for my understanding of the video, and I think that's harmonious in a way :)

Except ive been in this feeling for about two weeks since i lost the love of my life. Like you its just a desire to become no thing, having had enough with existence itself. This video has literally saved me. from myself, from the all, nothing and existence simultaneously. Thank you so much. I love you!

I'm deeply grateful my words could offer solace in your time of pain. Grief holds within an urge for ultimate release, yet persisting through darkness to dawn is courage's call. May you find comfort knowing this too shall pass, as all things do. For now, each breath gifts the chance to know Life anew. Its sweetness comes through sharing sorrows' lessons learned. You are not alone. We endure by embracing each moment, however it finds us, with open-eyed delight for simply being. This ability to truly see is life's greatest gift. I love you too.
