    Is that possible to add another accessory to roll all printed paper tape?

    • @chicagocolorlabel4640

      Hello. Yes! This printer comes with an optional rewinder to re-roll your printed labels onto a core for storage, sale, finishing, etc.

    Could you run a demo showing the rewinding of the WAT as well?

      Hello @user-nq4yh8bz2d
      Unfortunately, we don't have room for the rewinder on the table we use for the printer in the showroom, but it does integrate nicely with the printer. It adds roughly 14" to the overall length of the device.

    Thank you for this video. Can we print on regular Kraft Tapes using inkjet printers? Please recommend suitable inkjet printers for regular Kraft Tapes.

    • @chicagocolorlabel4640
      @chicagocolorlabel4640  Год назад +1

      Hi @erkartik2018,
      Printing on kraft material with inkjet printers is possible but if the back adhesive has to be activated with water, it can introduce problems with color fastness. Some inkjet printers use dye-based inks which are highly susceptible to "migrating" when they come into contact with water/moisture. If you are using wet-activated adhesives, the best chance of success you have is to use an inkjet printer that uses pigment-based inks such as the Afinia L502 or any Epson ColorWorks printer.
      However, if you are printing on kraft materials on standard roll label media (adhesive covered by a liner), you can certainly use any of our inkjet printers without worry. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us at (888) 237-8699.

    can i print on water activated tape with my thermal printer ?

    • @chicagocolorlabel4640
      @chicagocolorlabel4640  10 месяцев назад

      We haven't tested that in our showroom yet but we do have a lot of experience with thermal printers. I would venture a guess this might be problematic since the printhead needs to make firm contact with the ribbon and substrate below it to apply even heat and "melt" the thermal ribbon to the substrates surface. Since these wet activate tapes are a bit bumpy and uneven, I doubt the printhead would be able to do it's job properly, giving you uneven results at best.
      If you happen to try it, please post a comment here and let us know how it works out.
