I subscribed because I love the rapid-fire advice. There are a lot of channels that share great advice on how to be a photographer but they usually take forever to get to the point.
Kevan BH I hear that! Thank you!
Kevanbh glad im not the only one who noticed lol
Those vids are annoying esp when they talk about how they dyed their hair or where they got their new tshirt and stuffs lmao
Mango Street is great for photography tutorials that don’t waste your time. Like that’s literally their pitch and their vids are rad af
Listen to Pete. Words to live by-"do the opposite of what everyone else does". Seriously, this works for photography and...

Dude is lowkey advertising the deck of cards.
space_drifter lol
he use to be a magician, just letting you know.
space_drifter 😂😂😂
space_drifter I
Vishan Desilva yeah he looks more like a magician than a photographer
Coffee shop photo was beeeewdiful...
Brewtiful
Also, the lens used was perfect. I mean, I use a Fuji 35mm and it gets the same style because it emulates the closest field-of-view of a human eye.
Photo game UPPED INSTANTLY!
Chris Ramsay Chris, what are those cards? Thank You :-)
Ayeeee
OMG Chris!
Are you related to Gordon Ramsay?
.....lol
Hey I have some nice photos available for download or to order as a print, please visit

Pete: Do the opposite if what people do!
Me: Takes photo of people behind me instead of the massive lake in front of me.
Lol
DUUUUUUUDE this was amazing!!
FIRST of all, you got straight in to the video! No 10 minute intro that has nothing to do with why i clicked on the video. Thank you!
Secondly, these were simple but very useful tricks, one of which i actually already use for gaming screenshots.
Definitely a new subscriber here! Love your energy too

In short: think before you shoot ;)
Pretty much sums it up yeah LOL
It's the first thing I teach my students. Don't point and shoot, but look at the subject and think about what you like about it. Why did the subject caught your attention. If you cannot specify it. It probably won't get the attention of the people who look at your photo also.
So step back a moment and think about how you want to emphasize that thing that made you stop for a second. By just thinking about it for a couple of seconds, you're getting a better picture allready. :)
pdebie1982 It's why I think everyone should shoot film at least once in their life!
at least! Totally agree with you. Shooting film makes you think twice about clicking the shutter button. I've got an old 6x6 film camera with no automatic controls, lightmetering or whatever. The first time pressing the shutter was scary. Did I waste a piece of film? Or does it come out nicely. Luckily the first photo was only a bit underexposed, but the rest was pretty nice. I love shooting film. :)
Why don't you have more subscribers? Seriously man, the content is crisp, neat and to the point. You deserve better. Subscribed.
Btw, just entered the photography game, your videos are a huge help, and love the way you present :)

Is litteraly no one gonna talk about that epic flip?
I caught that! lol
I’m only 12 years old but I really love photography and I want to make a job out of it one day. I want to get better and this video really helped 😁
Hey 14 year old artist and author I want to be a comic designer I hope we can fulfil our dreams.
"Hell it could be shit too" haha keepin it real
This was a bummer for me, because I wanted to use the video in a classroom.
I'm still laughing at that one ... and the vid is over. ha ha ha ha ha!!!
You deserve more views than you get, your knowledge is gold
could NOT agree more.
I think he just started this channel 5 years ago and creeped up last two months. he literally jumped from 30ksubs to to current now in two months i think maybe three. My first video i saw maybe 3 weeks ago on his channel was that photoshop one with the man centered with the mountain views Lake Lousie i think, i don't know lol. I wonder is he sponsored by apple cause he mentions iphones alot. i have 6p for so long and just realised i have a pretty good phone camera.
Jesse Witts he is just telling lazy photographers, how to become better photographers. So practice practice practice.
Jesse Witts i agree
yep! now look at him...
so glad I came across your channel!!
Layne Fable do you have a Instagram? or 500px
Marcel Hoskins @laynabayna on IG! I should set up and 500px
Layne Fable your pics are awesome on IG! I'm @masonwade_photography

I know right he’s so good and very well explained.
Peter, in the past hour you've become my favorite photographer. Love these videos you produce. You're teaching some really, really valuable stuff. Just bought your preset pack (1st presets I've ever purchased) and I think they're great!
Can I just say how much you've improves In a year I watched this when you first uploaded and now rewatching it to compare to your recent stuff and dude your killing it so bad right now your confidence has gone up your flow when you talk is better and your way more into to it amazing work dude seriously 👊👊
Love all of these tips! My favorite would be the number 2 which is shoot thru. I realized how it is so important to add a little something around the object instead of capturing it the normal way. 👌🏼
Subbed immediately after the first tip

Okay I love how you jump right into the subject. Most of the youtubers nowadays have like 1-2 minutes intro and that drives me crazy!! Simple, straightforward advises right off the bat. Great video!!
I have learnt so much from you. I have watched so many tutorials in last 6 months learning photography and honestly this is the first time I am leaving a feedback as you deserve it. Your videos are so clear and informative and you don’t talk any junk, keep up the good work mate and also thank you for making such videos to help people like me.
“Wait for golden hour “
Uk : yeah you can have a blanket of clouds at golden hour
I'm here because my older sister wants me to take pictures of her. And she says I suck at it so I have to look at tutorials ರ╭╮ರ
Saaaame
Sameee
Omg this is so cute. I wish my brothers were this dedicated to taking photos of me 🤣
The first step to being great at something is sucking at something.
Aww ur such a good sibling I hope she appreciates you
Excellent tips! Patience is key but also the willingness to try something new. I love shooting photos in new situations and playing around with lighting.
This is rad. The overhead composition and shooting through something tips are so simple but super game changing. Thank you!
What you're describing here are the extreme basics . But it is these basic elements that help to make a great photograph . Without them , the latest iPhone , the DSLR with more megapixels or a thousand dollar lens is meaningless .
Good short lesson here .
hi..... are u looking for a way to become an expert in photography and probably make money doing it....then email me at wutangschannel @ gmail .com...because I have something that will help.
Thanks and remember to stay safe.
This is a fantastic video! All of the advice is solid and the production value of the video in itself was impressive. Your presentation was very great, you didn't ramble...nothing. It was concise and to the point. Loved it.
Appreciate that! Thanks!
My son is a dancer and I try to take a ton of great photos at his recitals to share with the other parents. Well this past weekend I upped my game. I rented a Canon L series 70-200mm IS II lens and finally got decent shots by adjusting my in-camera settings properly. Some of that I’m sure was thanks to your videos. What I did really different is stand in the wing of stage right and take photos from the side and back of the performers. It was the third show of the weekend and I already took thousands of pictures from the back of the audience. I’m quite pleased with how they turned out and they were the first set of photos I shared online. By thinking opposite, as you put it, I gave my dance family something unique and that they really appreciate.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for just jumpin into it, without a 3 minute intro. I really appreciate it. And the tips are super useful, too!
These tips are golden! You Sir just earned yourself a new subscriber ;)
hey, can you tell me what is the music genre, that he used in this video as background music ?
pls....
VMSULTHAN NOO!

Excellent video Peter, clarity on principles, fast paced, useful and great fun. Well done!
Thank you for taking the time out and showing all of us all this. Really appreciate it.
Man, you make the best tutorial vids.. informational, to-the-point and entertaining. Every cut has purpose and I find myself picking up little things here and there that aren't even directly related to the content. Keep up the great work!
just the intro convinced me to subscribe
haha. Thats awesome. Thanks!
Excellent tips, Peter! If I may suggest one more...Take your Time before pressing the shutter release! A little contemplation on your points before taking the image could also provide additional creative ideas that you can implement to improve the photograph...especially in still lifes where you have the luxury of "time". Thanks again!
the way your video looks, how you look in the vid, how collected you are infront of the camera, the way you speak and the clarity of your words, your confidence- you got me there bud. tired of watching youtubers who stutter alot and speak alot of nonsense with so many fillers. thanks for the tutorials..
Yup, sometime a refresher can help on things you learn from years back. Thanks Peter.
That one strain of hair is bothering me
Didn't notice it... Frick u

Nice video, short and sweet. I've also learned the angles can help get your shadow out of the photo when the lighting is really good too.

ASDFGH x well, i have a D3200, the only thing that makes me mad já the grain, It has too much grain even with low ISO
It’s a solid camera to start on, got some good pics with it
I use it, great camera if you know how to use it. I highly suggest it for a starter camera.
You look like Doctor Strange, except you're Canadian.
