Marla is so pretty and her style is so cool😭 i just haveee to try this! I’m not gothic or alternative or anything but this makeup look is so cool and I have to try it.
@@ClaireDim okay I did try it!!! It actually turned out really cool, I didn’t think it would turn out as good as it did since I’m not very good at doing makeup but I liked it a lot and I pulled it off okay since this look is pretty messy!
Yesss! That totally used to be my vibe! The movie came out when I was 17. And was very formative…Don’t take that the wrong way though. I didn’t get any destructive “ideas”. I was into psychology (definitely including male), philosophy, fashion/makeup, art. ❤️
I like how it's NOT to much 'manicured' (say so) what places it within 'realms of possibility', in the contrary to the most of other tutorials whose goal is almost impossible to reach. (Sorry for my awkward English).
Love this look! But I can't find a Mac Dusk Cream Color Base product that exists anywhere! Not on their website, not on Google. Is this the exact name?
upon further research, her eye look was more matte. but this is still fabulous. i think mac's "quite natural" is a better substitute for the authentic marla experience.
I don't think I will try this one Everyone will just think that I'm not wearing any concealer I don't even have dark circles I just thought this would be funny😂
Using this as my regular makeup look
Yay!
Love this look 😍 And actually I think Marla could be imaginary too, she might be just another side of main character's personality, just like Tyler :3
Thanks!
Marla is real

could you do the hair as a tutorial it looks cool in this video great look by the way xx
Thanks! I just pinned it up with a ton of hairpins, hehe
Lol, that's pretty much my make up routine every day. No wonder why people say I look like her...
Nice!
I have her exact hair texture and style, and the one time I did a messy smoky eye I got cat called as Marla so I feel ya.
@@natasha8007 Id think of that as a compliment, love her look
@@ClaireDim ohh I do, and agree with you, she’s very distinct
@@natasha8007someone who likes fight club catcalling a girl? Jeeeezzz talk about someone missing the entire point of the movie
I love this so much especially the hair! How did you achieve the hair look ?
Thanks! It looks like a trainwreck from behind but I focused on just making it look semi-90's inspired from the front.
I don't know why but I love Marla's look. It's kind of goth/emo/hungover/train wreck makeup haha
THIS!

Thanks a lot!
@@ClaireDim You're welcome :-)
i think maybe "stone" by mac is a better dupe for her lip color, as well as a highlighter in the middle of the lips. but this works too.
Thanks
Great tutorial, thank you!
Thanks so much!
@@ClaireDim I used it tonight for a character!
Love this look! But I can't find a Mac Dusk Cream Color Base product that exists anywhere! Not on their website, not on Google. Is this the exact name?
Thanks! Yes, I believe it's been discontinued.
i love it!!
Thanks!
Now in English, yeeesss😍😍😍😍
Yaaay
I think it's been discontinued? If this is so, what's a substitute product you'd suggest? Thanks girl, looks amazing!
Mac Constructivist or Indianwood paintpot is pretty close. Thanks again!
I LOVE THISSSSS
Thank you!
Amazing 😍

what brush did you use to blend the foundation?
It must be one by Nyx, I don't quite recognise it as I probably don't have it anymore I think
you look like Maggie Civantos of Vis A VIS or Julie Bowen of Modern Family!
Thanks!
“Marla, the big tourist.”

Who sing this song?
I think it's called "St. Francis" from the RUclips audio library.
wow
:)
i actually like this one more than nic chapman's rendition. hers still looks too polished somehow.
Thanks! Sam's version is iconic I think, I'm so glad you like this one too :)
@@ClaireDim sorry, i always get them mixed up.
