Not only are car prices sky high, car insurances are sky high as well. My insurance premiums on my EVs shot up over 100% this year. I'm better off driving my old full-size truck.
my friends who have EVs also have high insurance premiums, I roughly calculated their insurance basically eat up all their gas savings.
