@@williyum5491 one thing, if possible, use taxis instead of the bus transfers between hotels. Bring US currency, you can use it for everything. Don’t waste money buying pesos, everyone tries to get you to, but you often can’t use them. Don’t eat the food from vendors on the streets. We got sick. There are some nice little restaurants close to the hotel in Havana. Don’t be scared to walk around. It may seem overwhelming but we walked miles with no issues. People will try and get you to drive in their old cars, or take tours. Ask at the hotel in Havana for a driver if you want to tour around, they will get you a good driver. We ended up driving around in a Mercedes for the day for 40 dollars US. Another thing to avoid. People were constantly trying to get us to take advantage of a cigar festival, offering to take us to a place to get cigars rolled locally. Just avoid this and say no right away. They’re just trying to sell you fake cigars. Once you say no most people are nice enough to stop and leave you alone. If you get a room at the front of the hotel in Havana it can be noisy at night.
