Yan low key got robbed against O’Malley and I would say the same for his second fight against Aljo too, I always looked at yan as the true champion up until his loss to merab
@@BrandonKMMAthat’s a crazy take… his only 4 losses are to former champs, one was a dq, the other was a split decision, and he was lowkey robbed in the O’Malley fight (though it was a close fight). His only obvious loss was to Merab who is now champion. He also just beat Song Yadong who’s a pretty decent prospect. He’s definitely not washed, he’s not even 33 yet
