Jones even though losing the first 3 rounds showed why he is champion in the last 2 rounds. Have to do something special to take the belt from jone. Example - knock him out within the first or second round. Don't leave it to the judges.
@@MegaAussieFTW definitely 100% agree. Thats how its always been and its how it should stay. Sometimes rounds don't tell the full story
@@MegaAussieFTW if you convincingly dominate the champ for all 5 rounds then you're a proven champ but if you gas out in the last few rounds and start losing then the judges won't be convinced
Facts
Love the Reyes pause
These are awesome
Don't believe Jones is still undefeated after this fight.
Jon won jons defence is so good
He did...says he does on the paper. You must change your beliefs adil
@@Benjamin-hp8mw casual Jones fanboy.
Everyone knows that Reyes got robbed
@@Elias-xh8xm facts are he lost get over it
Reyes won this fight. I know it, you know it, Jon knows it.
Lol, are you a casual or what? Yk there’s something called points right, and not just winning by looking like you’re better
@@PapiiGiio casual or not there’s a lot of people who believe Reyes won..
@@oldaccount7885 and they’re wrong
@@1undertakeristhebest well honestly it is technically opinionated.. I personally felt draw UNTIL the two takedowns from Jones. But I do feel it is opinionated
@@oldaccount7885 Jones ktfo chael sorry
I love Jon bones Jones the best fighter I have seen from Liverpool Great Britain 🇬🇧 x
I remember Joey Diaz talking about how some fighters have that one fight where that's all they'll ever have. For example, Rory vs Robbie, Rory has had success but that fight was really the best he's ever been. I think that may've happened to Dominick, I hope I'm wrong but it's interesting to think about. Could just be some stupid stoner shit but.
i think you've hit the nail on the head perfectly. Off the top of my head Cody vs Cruz is one of them as well as Sonnen vs Silva, Hendricks vs GSP etc.
@@danielp0527 I still think Sonnen could've beaten Silva in the 2nd fight had he not done that silly move. He won the first round 10-8.
I think the Rory example is a little more than that
Rory left a piece of himself behind forever in that octagon with lawler. Damage.
Reyes clearly won the first two rounds, Jon clearly won the last two rounds. The question is the third round.
Third Round, Reyes 26 Significant Strikes, Jones 19 significant strikes.
Jones two takedown attempts, no takedowns.
Reyes should have won the third and won the fight 48-47.
Judges don’t see the stats
I actually thought that jones won the 2nd while reyes won the 3rd
is not like this. to defete a champion you need to be imposing
@@razen4758 that’s not what the unified rules of MMA state. Also, judges score each round separately. They don’t judge the fight as a whole. This isn’t Pride.
Cant argue he won against Jon 3 rounds to 2 and also let's not forget Jon's done everything he's done on the sauce
Still undefeated. What have you done with your pathetic life?
@@ArkansasGamer what he’s done with his life is irrelevant. Jones is the professional fighter and a critique of him is logical.
@@ArkansasGamer that's irrelevant bro, your just insecure that your favourite fighter cheats, beats women and lost against Reyes 😉
first time iv'e seen bones struggle honestly. to the floor wow that's new
Idk why but watching Jan Blachowicz stun Dominik Reyes and knock him out cracks me up every time
Watching Jan get laid out STIFF ASF by Santos is even funnier
Dominic Reyes doing the stanky leg
Reyes beat him daylight robbery bro
Imagine beating the champ 3 out of 5 rounds and losing a decision. Reyes and Santos should have fought for the belt after those fights.
Even if that was true jones would deserve a rematch over santos
Jon Jones hairline in his video reminds me of the hairline of every Rick and Morty character😂
It seems like everyone who looses a close decision to Jon are never the same afterwards like Reyes santos and Gus.
What a great channel, good work my guy
"Shoutout to my lord and savior Jesus Christ"-Jon the pictogram Jones
Y are people calling him pictogram
We all know Jon lost this fight, fricken screwjob if there ever was one.
it really could’ve gone either way, i think it was a ridiculous job by the judges. reyes easily could’ve won this fight tho
NO JON DID lose the fight this was rigged
“Great response Dominick”
“Why aren’t you playing promotion with me”
AMEN BROTHER AMEN BROTHER 🙏🏼🙏🏼💪🏼
How did Reyes not win this fight.
popularity
Dominick did good, respect
Ufc should hire u to do these lmao
this will be doms best performance of his career he gave it his all for this fight he won't ever be the same
and this was just another day in the office for Jon. he woulda finished dom if they had rematched
@@KyleMx4finished dom ? if he was rigged a W against Jon this fight how could Jon possibly finish him in a rematch😭
Too bad Reyes overlooked his next opponent
Too much 🌿

You have to TKO, knockout or submit the Champ if you want the Belt.
Unless you maul them.
Reyes is no joke OMG
Cody Garbrandt got the belt without doing anything you have mentioned even the mauling, Dominick Cruz as well in his fight against TJ.
Dana’s face at a Jon Jones conference is priceless 😂 dude be nervous asf 😂😂
Are there stats somewhere correlating reach advantage to wins across this sport?
4:24 Joe Stevenson highlight. " he has all the potential in the world". As he's getting knocked to his ass. Like use a different clip lol how are you hyping him up by showing a clip from a fight where he got his ass beat.
It was against prime BJ though so, yknow understandable lol.
hes not.
Tbh if ur fighting a champion, in order to overtake him you need to dominate over 50% of the fight if it goes the distance. The scoring was good. Reyes didnt KO him, didnt take him down or subdue him. Jones kept him at distance albeot close.
Read mma rules ffs instead od giving your personal opinion about how fights should be scored.
No you don't. You have to win on the 10 point must system. It doesn't matter if you are the champ or the opening fight in the card. Reyes won the first 3 rounds, he outstruck him, he defend all the takesowns, and was the aggressor. Jones won the 4 and 5 on being the aggressor and getting takedowns? Those rounds are extra points, its not like its 12-9 compared to 10-9 lol. Reyes was robbed more than Max vs Volk 2
@@thenedsmmachannel8970 lol they aren’t gonna give the goat his first loss on a super close fight you need to finish him or look noticeably better and completely control the fight if it goes decision
Never knew chandler jones was Jon’s brother😶 Momma cultivated champs💯
Even if you don't like Reyes, you gotta admit he's that gave John the hardest fight of his career.
Don’t think so at all, Alex Gustafson did though. Rewatch that highlight
Probably his first fight without roids lol
Great response Dominick.
