Petr is one of my favorite fighters ever. So happy he’s on a win streak right now. I saw some people saying it wasn’t 50-45 but I thought it was a pretty clear score for Yan. Yan honestly could beat Umar or Merab for the belt, he just has to figure out a way to deter Merabs pressure. Maybe he could use those upper cuts and knees he used in this fight.

If he can mix in those knees and uppercuts to ward off take downs and he keeps up his good take down defense, he has a good shot of beating both of them.

I love fights like these then we get Aljamain Sterling a 135 GOAT vs a 145 rising contender. LOVE that fight too. This won't be Calvin Kattar who's use as a wall to run through and make highlights out of and a name for yourself in the rankings at 145. That Yan vs Figgy fight is going on my list of all time favorite fights. We just saw some of the most Elite MMA. There wasn't just crazy flow state striking battles, we saw scrambles as nimble as cats. This is top tier MMA! (Man i wish we could just banish Merab to the shadow realm so we could enjoy all of these amazing 135 match ups. I'm already so fed up with merab as a champ!)
