It’s The Fact That These kids weren’t thugs but wanted a “Thug life” when in reality they were spoiled rich kids . They took his life for absolutely no meaning .

It took months, but thanks to ABC15 News, and Preston's advocates, this story went viral, and Preston will have his Justice. Thank you.
I live in Oklahoma and stumbled across this story watching true crime. I clicked on it because of the baby face boy, so young! Only to find out Preston is only 4 mos and 2 days younger than my oldest child, Cayden.
I watched the trauma of my parents burying their baby boy, with my own brother being killed by his best friend when he was 12 and his friend was 11. He shot my brother in the face, killing him instantly on Nov 11, 1995. I was only 9. Sheriff's office deemed it an accident, but the logistics and evidence has never sat well with me being an accident. Very small town w 1 stop sign on main street in Utah. It tore our family apart, still does. And it's been 29 yrs now. So my biggest fear w having children of my own was to lose one of them. I don't think id survive like my parents did, and they're still married to this day.
Preston's story will now remain in my mind, his life in my soul. Such an unnecessary, senseless, deliberate tragedy. I'm so grateful the entire community is there backing his family. It truly takes a village.
When my brother passed away, we had a majority of the community behind us. But the other family also had some of the community backing them. It was like the community pitted our families against each other and sometimes made things worse. It was HARD for my siblings and I to have to remain in the same schools as the kid who killed my brother and his siblings. Sometimes in the same classes even. The kid was never charged, only being 11. His dad was tho, for supplying his 11 yr old a loaded shotgun to go pheasant hunting when my brother only had a pellet gun. Which was the norm in our small town for boys to go hunting the woods around town w either pellet guns or bebe guns only. But their dad deserted the family of 6 kids and wife when charged, then fled the country to avoid prosecution. So those that supported their family BLAMED my family for causing unnecessary stress on their now single mother w 6 kids, and for us being the reason their father abandoned them. Without them EVER thinking about our lifetime pain in losing a son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend for eternity. That my brother was dead, at least their father and brother were still alive. Sadly, being only 1 of 2 families in the entire county that weren't Mormon, and their family being Mormon, more were willing to defend and support the Mormons than the non Mormon family. Even tho we are the ones left suffering. My parents moved us to a town right outside Tulsa Oklahoma when I was 15 for a fresh start. Huge culture shock fm coming fm a small town of maybe 600 and in a Mormon community to a bigger by far, very diverse town of people! But they KNEW we had to leave our fully established lives in the small county and town that even my father grew up in, and to get us all out of that environment that kept us in a constant battle w that kid and his siblings. We would go to holiday parties at friends houses or town/school activities and their siblings would start fights w me and my siblings. It was a neverending cycle of trauma. I'm glad we left and moved so far away cuz it allowed my family to truly start healing.
I love seeing how staunch this community is backing Preston's family, this will truly allow his family to heal in good time. My prayers go out to them and the entire community for the loss of such an amazing young man, who's story is touching lives thousands of miles away 🙏🏼🤎
Giving someone that committed murder a bond is insane. Big problem in the court system in this country.

the cops do their jobs.. the detectives do their jobs but these POS judges don’t do theirs! many people don’t realize that a judge is only a retired lawyer
Ever heard of due process or presumed innocence? That is the purpose of bond. It's hard to hire a lawyer and prepare a defense from jail. And if you are innocent of the crime you should not have to be in jail.

When I first heard Preston’s story and learned about the entitled rich kids who murdered him, I wondered if he would receive justice. Now I’m cautiously optimistic he will get Justice.

A lot more kids were involved. This was like a spider web. The Goons arrested that are being prosecuted aren't the entirety of the Gilbert Goons. Many were sons of prominent business owners, LE, and others with connections with lawyers and politicians. This is why it took so long to make any arrests. If the parents all worked in service positions or unions, these Goons would have been rounded up in less than two weeks.

I realize this has nothing to do directly with Preston. This is more a statement on the trust of our police departments here in the East Valley

These gang style beatings have been happening here in the valley for decades... When I was in high school in the early '90s... We had a group of idiots with a made-up gang name who went around doing mass beatings like this. Boys are idiots with no empathy and the more time goes by the more violence is normalized in society. We need to be teaching our boys better. And the one boy whose dad ended up in jail for drug charges... He's part of the problem and he should be charged since two of his boys were involved and he tried to cover up for them

If I saw this happening to a child where a whole gang of kids was beating up on one, I couldn't stop myself from intervening even if that means I get beat up too!!! I don't understand how this was allowed to happen in public and no adults intervened at all. Especially at In-N-Out. I'm a 49-year-old woman and I don't think I could help myself but to get out and start chasing and screaming at kids. They can call me "Karen"all they want I could not watch a child being beaten by other mean children

Has Preston's biological mom ever come forward? This stepmom is exceptional, she's at the forefront... That's exactly where I would be with my " stepdaughter" Who is very much MY daughter.... I hate the term stepmom or stepchild. I met her when she was 2 years old and divorced her dad after we had two more children and she was over the age of 18. She's still very much my daughter and calls me Mom when her biological mom isn't looking LOL. She only does it privately because her mother still has a huge issue with me even though I was the one who raised her daughter as their father wasn't very present as a dad even when he was In the same room as them.

The only thing I see is they weren't offered plea deals. That isn't very common for the county attorney. If convicted, they can be sentenced to the maximum penalty allowed by law for that crime.
The family of Preston need to deny plea deals.
