A noble telling "because you're my friend and you work hard" is super sus from Olivia’s pov, as in this world, hierarchy plays a major role in social dynamics (which Livia has been seeing first hand since coming to the school) with literally everybody who isn't Leon disliking Olivia because of her commoner status. So Olivia need solid reassurance from Leon, and that's not something Leon can give since the only reason he cares about Olivia (originally) was because she is the game protagonist with the Saint power.
My favourite scene, and the reason I liked this anime, I don't care what anyone else says. Leon dealing with the idea that he is a mob character that doesn't deserve to be with the main heroines or he'll disrupt the story, was the only interesting part of this show. People that are upset about mc dealing with this complex and not being some womanizing gigachad are missing the point.
I'm angry and proud the same time for leon during this scene because he knows he's place and he's very reasonable for understanding what the game is planing only problem is this isn't a game no more that's why I'm angry
This is one of those cases in which I really hate the whole Manga and it's premises, but I like the MC. The only thing that I can say that this manga teaches well, is the fact that everybody has something to lose, and the more you want to achieve, the more you lose at the end for paying the price. Don't mess up, ever, with someone with nothing to lose.
The first 5 episodes were a perfectly encapsulated storyline. Everything thereafter was by the numbers manga tropes and low esteem harem MC filler/mid-roll.
After they became friends she asked him to call livia as a sign of friendship. So he reverted to calling her Olivia she felt like she lost him for ever
