  • Today I'm going to tell you everything. I have always tried to be as open with you about my personal life as I felt was useful - sharing the information I had in hopes that what I had figured out could help others find their own answers. I've held back on a few things up to this point because I didn't quite have the whole picture - and now I have that picture.
I'm finally at a place where I can tell you pretty much everything about my personal health. My Mental and emotional health.
I'm going to be sharing with you a pretty complete picture of my personal journey, how I have come to know what I know about human psychology and emotional intelligence. How I know what I know about self love and spirituality. I am going to be sharing with you everything I know about myself and my struggles to this point - because I KNOW that so many of you are going to resonate and find clarity from my clarity.
We are in this together. I'm right here with you in your anxiety, depression, health issues and feelings of being lost and trapped. There's nothing wrong with you. I hope my story helps you feel more centered in your own.

Thank you for sharing this Ali. This is incredibly meaningful.
I've been listening to your videos on and off for many years now, they have helped me throughout some difficult times.
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Not only for sharing your story but also for living all the things you lived and turning that into valuable lessons for you and now for us too.
I resonate so much with all the energetic sensibilities you experienced. I'm a very overwhelmed empath trying to create a life that's not only functional but meaningful and fulfilling, it has been hard and lately I've been wanting to give up as this world feels too much for me right now.
    Your story gave me hope.
Thank you again, Ali. I love you.

Hello Miyuki! First off - I just really want to say that I SEE you. This overwhelm that you're feeling, the hopelessness and feeling that you may want to just give up - totally valid. This world IS a lot. And when you feel everything, it adds to that pressure so much. You're not alone. I see you. You're worthy of taking time and space for yourself.
Second, thank YOU from the bottom of MY heart for this incredibly thoughtful comment. It means so much to me that my story has had an impact. Thank you for this. It's so inspiring and motivating for me to hear.
I hope that some of my other videos can be a support for you in finding that meaning in your life. Your life MATTERS. Inherently. And you're fully worth the time and effort to find what matters to YOU in this life. What makes you happy and fulfilled. Remember - what you do for others is a byproduct of just following what feels nourishing for YOU. Don't let the world tell you you have to be so outwardly focused at all times to find meaning.

Having been led or having led myself to your channel and subscribing on a whim, since your quirky(?) energy and obvious intellect seemed more relatable and attractive than a few channels whose search for a spiritual path were journeying where I had already visited or toward a mystery I saw no need to solve.
Seems as though prioritizing the prerogative of "knowing thyself" no matter what obstacles and pain were in the way - has turned out to be key to your integration and ability to love yourself and know that you are at your best when in service to others.
I'm a paleface probably twice your age and have a couple of testosterone factories and can't mirror your experiences in my mind as well as some more closely aligned physically, but to borrow a phrase from one of the melanin-enhanced youngster set - I feel you.
You have a gift , or many to go with your trials and tribulations. Finding it and working with it is a beautiful thing to see.
I did "stay to the end" although it took two sittings with projects to keep my hands occupied in tasks not requiring much focus since sitting in front of any screen of flashing images and giving my full attention just isn't healthy for me. And I'm glad that I did.
Call me a relic or call it 'woo-woo' but I suspect that you have run across some of the studies in the newly coined field of Epigenetics.
I'm gonna go with intuitive, and say that I feel that there is something that you might find there that you didn't realize that would improve your perception of health, your work, and material being in the day to day aspect of your life. Might even learn to sleep, perchance to dream.

Yes yes yes! Thank you for this beautiful message. I feel you too ;)
I LOVE epigenetics - and that's why all of my work is belief/thought based in its foundation. There is SO much power in what we believe and project and how we perceive - that's why this is all about training our perceptions to REALITY - and how deeply complex and full of possibility it is! I don't consider my situation to be 'limiting' in any way - and I am constantly learning new things about the potentials of 'me' - I am so deeply with you on the power of ur minds over our perceptions, and thus how we can interact with reality

YES! The deepest wisdom for happiness I learned the Christian way 'teaching to accept the things I cannot change, and give me the courage to change the things I can.' That balance. Of knowing we are here to affect change and improve things by following our guidance - which is part of happiness - blended with the capacity to truly embrace those things which we have no control over, finding our power in accepting and making the best of what is. Such amazing insight.

Thanks for sharing your story. It was very interesting and it sounds like finding out about your condition was like finding a piece of the missing puzzle of how you fit into the jigsaw of life. It's a good feeling when things start to make sense in your own head and you can compare it to the person you once were, but aren't anymore, or didn't even know you had been. I moved to Japan in 2012 too for similar reasons, and I think for all of us westerners who move to the east, there is a sense of peace to be found and time to find it without the pressures and anxieties we left behind. Of course, they surface again from time to time, but as you say, hopefully, the person has been able to develop the tools to cope better. I'd recommend watching a film called 'Please Stand by' from 2017. It's a nice, lighthearted film that deals with autism. Keep fighting the good fight!

    • @ThePerceptionTrainersPT
      @ThePerceptionTrainersPT  3 года назад

YES! That's exactly how it feels :) And I SO deeply resonate with everything you say about moving to Asia. There is a level of personal alignment that we all have to find for ourselves - and it's not 'magic' - but it's not NOT magic either! There is that fine balance between learning t be happy in what we are in, and accepting that we are specific beings with specific needs that DO feel better in certain circumstances. Like a rose can't just grow in any environment. Thank you for your reflections and I will check out the film!

Edit: heard everything. Thank you so, so much for sharing your amazing story. I admire you.
Regarding the autism: I recognize so much from my own story in yours.

Hi Melanie! Thank you so much for your comment. You are seen and heard here. I am so humbled that my story was able to bring you any sense of peace or clarity!
The hormone thing - basically I had this figured out just backwards - I thought that the digestive issues I've had all my life were the CAUSE of my lack of hormones - I thought I went into a stress induced menopause - but the whole cascade of effects and what not - I already had figured out. What the doctors told me is just that it is common for people with AS to have low levels of rest and digest hormones and neurotransmitters and that was my WHY for where the hormone thing went 'wrong.' - I think this is something I may actually just be on the 'leading edge' about? Because yeah, It was mostly understandings I already had that was just missing the 'why' piece. I'm going to be talking about it more as I go along - but I DO know that all the emotional mastery stuff I talk about, all the finding your right life - THAT was the MAIN thing that helped me to regulate myself and totally REDUCE my A.S symptoms naturally even without hormones! I hope to have lots and lots more to share on this as I discover more in my own personal experience!

Keep teaching him how to feel his feelings, how to learn what they are telling him, and making it ok for him to do what he knows is RIGHT even if it's not what the system wants - what society says. Build him up with unconditional love - Resource him with the power to make choices. I am sure you are doing all these things. Here in the States, I took a very *basic* test for autism that was part of 6 hours of full-scope neuropsychological testing, but nothing that would insinuate high-functioning ASD-- yet I share so many of your symptoms, and also have resonated with so many of your YT videos.
I hope to keep learning from you.
(For context- I have been diagnosed w/ Bipolar 1 and DHD, but have chronic pain. and GI issues, as well as marked harder time calming down, exceptionally good and sensitive hearing, and also sensitivity to light. I also become very fixated on small things and larger themes like certain musicians or art types, at a time, and it seems to an outsider like a lack of balance).

Hi Love! I am so sorry that you have been struggling with what you've been struggling with. You are so not alone and there is nothing wrong with you. I wonder - do you have trauma in your history? Some of the symptoms you describe here may not be due to being neuro-diverse, but from having to be in a state of hyper vigilance in your childhood/early adult life. Being in this world where we simply aren't supported in being our true selves, having to work hard, go to school, not be loved for who we are - all of this trauma can seem like it was 'just a normal upbringing' - but I feel like SO MANY 'sensitive' people are just the canary in the coal mine for how messed up society is. Does any of that resonate?

Thank you so much for your honesty! First of all I have the deepest respect and I really adore how honestly you open up about this! Also I have a question I would really love to know your thoughts to:
So in manifestation it is a common thought, that we manifest like every little thing in our reality. Which already makes me scared of thoughts. My question is, what about people with mental health issues like ocd or ptbs, people who really just can't control what they're mind is thinking. I know from myself that these fears I am scared of, have come up regularly and I have not been able to stop them from taking over my thoughts. Which meant flashbacks, panic attacks and lots of images in my mind. And I know that my thoughts create. But at what extant? Still I have had some of these fears for like years and years constantly popping up, and never happening. Until now it accidentally happened, but I know why. But all the other times before my fears never happened. I wonder, how is that possible. What kind of role do coincidences play?
It scares me to think that one would have to control what they are thinking 24/7. How does that conform with the rule that every thought manifests?
I struggle with really bad ocd thoughts and fear like literally constantly and I can barely control them. Also in therapy I have to confront these fears wich means I focus on them and I don't want to be scared that if I do that I manifest more of them. I believe working on our physical health not only with manifesting comes in so many ways.
How can I live with the law of attraction without being scared? And without being able to Always control my thoughts?
Learning about the law of attraction has been my first ever hope. And now it turned into fear. (sorry for how long it got..)

    • @ThePerceptionTrainersPT

Hey love! This is a deeply over simplified understanding of a very complex subject. I now it can bring a sense of peace for a moment to think that we control the world with our thoughts - but the reality is we are living in a big world with MANY generative factors. We are more than not going to have to embrace the inevitable chaos and learn to simply 'accept what we cannot change and have the courage to change what we can.' If the LOA worked the way most spiritual teachers preach, we would all have a million dollars, the loves of our lives (think about how much people obsess over these things!) and we would all be dead from a plane crash ;) Check out my video 'is the law of attraction making you afraid to think?' Basically - it just doesn't work that way.
