Im honestly confused by some of these negative comments. I have been watching polyfest for years and this performance is one of the best of all time on the Samoan stage

This video literally just made history by being the first ever polyfest video to make it to the trending list of RUclips. Wow! my sister's went to mcauley way back in the day and everyone has always known mcauley high school samoan group has been for years the star of the polyfest...if only someone could put together a montage of all the years they killed it since 1994

McAuley sure knows how to finesse the Samoan stage and by miles! Once again, every second year McAuley competes they bring in something new. So many formations, so well thought out, the singing, the entrance to the exit. EVERYTHING is so graceful and so well done. I love what they did to the uniform and having two different colours, this way it really shows off how clean the formations are. This isn't always easy to do. The fuataimi isn't mimika like a lot of others and also not shy, so a perfect combination. And that song though LMAO - who came up with these clever lyrics daaaammmnn! hahaha. I'd say this is the best set by McAuley ever and the best performance on any Samoan stage I've seen. This is a group of girls who obviously all wanted to win and did a damn good job of it. Everyone's in sync in everything. I think I can speak on everyone's behalf by saying that McAuley won Samoan stage for All Girls, All Boys and Co-ed :D #proudasasasmcaulian
brookside109 it’s just something that our principal wanted. She wanted to focus on education first. There’s a balance, so we’re not doing too many things in one year. If the girls are in Polyfest, sports, stage challenge & other activities, it will stray away from the education being it’s main thing. So our Principal just went with that. It’s been working cos McAuley is sassing it up in everything especially education so that balance is so good for the girls 👍🏽. Hope that answered your question 😊
There has been so much thought into formation, moves and the effectiveness of the uniform. So many 3d effects! The sasa was innovative, esp the start of it and super sharp. Whoever the tutors are deserve a gigantic hi-5! Original content wt delicious vocals. Well done McAuley, supremely worthy!

Goosebumps from start to end! A beautiful capturing performance with a little Samoan humour and modern influence. Loved the musical arrangements, harmonies and the two contrasting uniforms. The formations were out of this world, unique and original. McAuley brings to the stage something that no other school before them has ever been able to deliver in a performance, emotional pride in our culture and aganuu. Well done girls and especially to your tutors. It’s been 11 years since I last went to Polyfest but will make it tradition to go every two years now just to watch McAuley 🙂🌺❤️

What I don't understand is, why are the other schools not stepping it up? if I were a judge, I would hate to sit up and take notice only when the good schools come on stage if it were the average schools I'd just scribble or tag all over their judging form 😂😂😂😂😂

Why do only perform every 2 years?
