I would honestly take no issue with him coming back if it sounded like he worked on himself and tried to be a better person. But it sounds like he came back and downplayed or straight up lied about his actions.

as someone who was in both his "comeback" stream and "explanation" stream I can say this men cant lie for his life, you can tell when he gets caught in his own lies, like someone in chat was like "but why did you re-upload the videos without waiting for a response from kami and the others" DEADASS you can see in his face how he knows he fucks up, his excuse? "well you know i-i got to excited and forgot to wait" BUT LATER he says "I got permission" so what is it? did he get approval or didn't he?
Some context, because some crucial infos are missing here :
Kage was part of a 4-man indie Vtuber group. They did a lot of collabs, including every friday, and so most of the clips/shorts he posted were of him and the boys.
I'm guessing the money's running low, and those videos were getting a lot of views, so he wanted to unprivate them.
The thing is, at least 2 of the 3 other ex-members of the group do not want to be associated with him anymore (unsure about the last one). Kami in particular has been very clear about it.
He then had the gall to say that "the others were fine with it" (Andy at least never gave his approval. Again, unsure about Phoenix, he hasn't made any statement).
Kage left the internet for 4 months to "better himself", and the first thing he did when he came back was lie and completely disregard his previous friends' clear boundaries.
As Riikami said, everyone should just leave him and the people involved alone. Kami doesn’t want hate to spread any further to anyone for that matter
I know Vdramatubers job to keep people updated on such instances in regards with the vtubing community but It doesn’t matter if Kage came back, I still hope for everyone involved to move forward and do their own thing. No one doesn’t deserve to be doxxed (will forever not like Dove) but I also don’t like Kenji and never will like these two jerks but for Kage, he may have done wrong but that doesn’t allow us to grab him by his throat to stop him from doing his source of income. I do agree that he shouldn’t have come back too soon and I don’t like how he’s coming for his previous members to mend a broken friendship because damage has been done and that even though Kage is apologizing and asking for consent to post certain things, still isn’t right to keep rekindling that bad event especially if those involved weren’t even actually part of the issue and just want to be left alone. Bottom line everyone should just leave each other alone and continue what they want to do in life
To be honest I understand Kages dislike for Kenji that grew because, well, he made a hate campaign against him a long while ago and never apologize for it until this day, he still thinks he's in the right for sending his audience to harass kage over a thumbnail thumbnail style that everybody uses and that he's not original on dead ass I can't defend Dove as she was just a hideous person out of spite for losing a damn mod role XD I actually still laugh about her controversy till this day because I would never lose my damn mind over no mod role like, just be a different mod for somebody I feel like with the amount of how much the community is growing, there will be more people looking for mods, she ruined her chance of ever being a mod and being someone that could be trusted again I have a feeling if she hadn't been so petty, her career would not have died like it did

Honestly, if he was smart, he should've just practiced augmenting his voice to a deeper register/lower octave and came back as a different Vtuber instead of /gestures vaguely/ whatever that stream of his was.
It would've been even better for him to stay gone and seek a different career altogether, but common sense is uncommon with that man.

Also for being complicit with the doxxing, stayed by Dove's side, etc. He's getting more hate than the others in the group because he was talking shit, and admitted to it.
When Dove complained about her post being deleted in a server that was doxxing Kenji and his fucking family, Kage's response was that Kenji should leave the community. He was not blamed for association, he was a piece of shit to the people who saw him as a friend.

So I'm gonna say something that might turn heads, but I was a person that remain neutral on the kage and Kenji personally, I spoke about how I didn't like how people were expecting him to not say how Kenjis fans were sending him death threats and more I believe he had every right to mention that because he's a person at the end of the day I also believe that kenji was in fact not a goody 2 shoes, and secretly, harmed people behind the scenes, only to come out as a person that really was portray it to not have caused any harm to anybody when really he caused harm to the people that don't like him which is kage he made a whole entire campaign against him long before this drama, even started between the 2 and he even bashed him for having I don't know what thumbnail style, which is pretty lame if you ask me, it's so cliche to get mad at somebody over something like that Kenji seemed petty and manipulative with his audience in the past, from what I saw not to mention their approach seems also like they want to start drama, don't get me wrong I loved to watch rikammi i loved Phoenix, I didn't really watch much of Andy as I did not get a feel of his content but I said that he has the right to re upload those videos kage because, well, those are his videos. He had a right to bring them back, especially when he was a person that was in the videos like contributing to that video, so if he wasn't in the video, I would maybe understand them, asking him to take them down, but those are literally his videos, his content, they all had content they did on their channel, so just because you are in the video, it don't really matter, that's still their content it all seem like a petty attempt to build another harassment campaign against kage even after kage moved on and more it might not have been his intentions but knowing how malicious people can be, I doubt people would ever listen to him if he told them not to send harassment kage's way also, I might sound like I'm a big supporter, but really, I was a person that could tell the favoritism in the obvious ignoring of kenjis wrong doings twards kage to make him snap but I also stopped supporting kage after he made the joke because it was in poor taste, if I criticized another person about doing it, I would never support him doing it. So, yeah, that was a no-go for me, all of the other stuff seems petty, but the joke that he made kind of made me step away from him for a little while
Dove honestly ruined her chances of ever being a mod for somebody again, she ruined her opportunities because, like, with the amount of people like I said in a previous comment, joining the community, you have a bigger chance of getting another mod role because people are looking for mods with, since she's proven how petty she is and how evil she is, she will never have a chance of trust again, I feel like it's comedy how she ended her career over something so little I just want people to know that I am not in defense of Dove doing what she did to Kenji but I can also understand Kage and was at his defense a little
That the thing I didn't get back then and still don't. Somehow Kage got more hate then the person that doxx Kenji and when you look at videos more people talked about Kage then Dove. Another thing I don't get, other then the joke the rest were things that are so petty and stupid. "Oh, he talked bad about Kenji on a PRIVATE chat" -.- people on twitter shit talk others in the open, you can be mad at him for talking bad about Kenji but it is still not a crime and not something he is not allow to do, especially in private. "He was friends with dove". Ok, maybe not the best thing but still not enough to get cancel over. And from there it was just how Kage responded to the situation which he was just being a human in panic to save face. Also from what the screenshots they shared with that group chat("hate groupchat") the replies are from 2022.
Anyway there is no reason why he shouldn't do his own thing now, it is sad how people found it so hard to just block and move on.

That's what I did it like, is that like he kept telling his fans, oh, he doesn't want to talk, oh, he doesn't want to talk, you were talking aggressively with him and talking over him every chance he got I agree with everything you said because honestly, I share this experience because I once had a little fall in with the guy and he was a piece of shit kenji 😒 He was rude, egotistical, he was everything I didn't like when I first talked to him all of his blind fans don't know what he's really like, but I do because I talked to the dude he was a straight up egotistical, sadistic bully that liked to enjoy the pain of his victims
