for anyone that is still having this. the tennis ball will work 70%. the other 30%, you have to physically stretch it. like yoga. stretch it for a long period of time, till it hurts then when you release, your muscles will relax.

My friend!! Oh my gosh... As several below have said,, Thank you!
I can't begin to tell you what a journey this has been. It has been such a depressing, emotional and psychologically challenging journey of fear and pain... We have done so many things to try and figure out this pain... Then last week I stumbled across your information here, including the other series of three videos relating to this. I literally stole my dogs tennis ball and On my Gosh!! I have been cautiously optimistic that this relief would continue.. It is so much better!!! I keep a tennis ball near by and use it often...I have noticed that soft squishy running shoes help too.. Thank you, thank you!! I hope this will help so many men out there... Well done Gary... You are a good man. You honestly HELP people so well.. Love your compassionate no non since presentation. Best wishes and good Karma to you friend~

Didn't have a ball, but the two stretches helped so much my pain has actually gone. Been having issues for a few months (I think jogging triggered it initially). My right testicle was painful as well as painful if squeezed gently. My leg joint was also painful... Doing these for a few minutes and the stretch was really hard at first, but now much easier and the pain has gone. Thanks for this - has helped me immensely!

9 days into a 10 day dose of Cipro for diagnosed "epididimitis" I still had discomfort, it was never painful but still something was there. Having had low back pain in the past I did some looking around and found this. I have been doing these exercises a few days now. The first day it helped right away. I dont know if I ever did need that medication. Anyway I can really feel pressure points in the muscles below the lower back and top of back thigh area. My hip makes a little popping noise when extending my leg on the right side. Anyway this has been a real help.

Hey Gary, THANK YOU! I went to the urgent care doctor on Sunday to figure out my right testicle sensitivity. I could barely walk it was so bad. After examining me the doc told me that she wanted me to get on an antibiotic (levoflaxacin 500mg twice daily for 10 days). Though in some cases antibiotics can save lives, I'm super anti-antibiotic. I grabbed the prescription just in case, but after reading reviews and potential side effects, I started down the google search rabbit hole and found this video. Someone mentioned you in a random comments section on some random blog post about testicle pain. I had just gone golfing for the first time in years on Friday, then I sat editing videos for 12 hours on Saturday. Sunday morning was when the pain happened. I had a feeling it was a muscular / nerve issue. I also was concerned with the possibility of losing my testicle from torsion so I wanted to be safe and go to the doc. I'm glad I did, but I'm even more glad that I found this. I did this two times Sunday night. The testicle sensitivity was still there a bit but it was already better and the abdomen pain was gone. I also took two 500mg cranberry pills (no idea if it helped). I took the day off work Monday and did these exercise another 2 or three times during the day. By Tuesday afternoon when my wife came home from work, I was a new man. The pain was gone. This morning, the pain is completely gone. I am SO thankful for this and you have gotten yourself a super fan. I don't really feel comfortable sharing how I found you, but I will share your other stuff out so others might also find relief. I can't tell you how grateful I am that I didn't have to unnecessarily put myself through 10 days of levoflaxacin with all the crazy risks that entails. I'm also going to call my doctor to let her know what I did to hopefully save some other unfortunate man some grief. If I lived near you, I'd buy you dinner. But I'm also happy to help promote you if I can. Do you have an instagram? I have 13K followers and I'd be happy to promote you. Warm regards, Andy

Firstly thank you so much for sharing this video. I stumbled across it tonight on my never-ending search to relieve my testicular pain. Supposedly I have epididymitis and have been suffering for the past six weeks. It was brought on by an untreated UTI and a day in the gym doing squats with breath holds. The day after the pain was intense and I immediately found a urologist who gave me an ultrasound, saw the swollen vessels, and prescribed antibiotics. The pain has gone down but still returns, especially while sleeping. After reading through all these comments I'm wondering if there is also another cause for the pain. Since the onset of pain I've also had some discomfort with the tendon across the bottom of my left foot (left ball too). I'd read that some antibiotics can cause this and thought it was normal but now I'm on doxycycline and still feeling the foot. So now I'm wondering if my pain may have a different source. I did your exercises this evening and have not felt any pain since. I will continue to do them everyday in hopes that they end this horrible condition. If you could share any insights I'd be very grateful. Thanks again for this excellent video 🙏🙏🙏

    Hi Peter,
The fact that the pain goes away when you do this technique is a good sign, so you may just want to keep releasing the tension in your pelvis until the release is more stable. That said, you should definitely go to your doctor if you think it's might be more serious, then you'll know for sure.

Had a lot of soreness in my left abdomin, left lower back and left testicle on Monday which got extreme pain throughout the day. Went to the doctors and he said I have a kidney stone based on the symptoms. For the next days the pain shifted almost strictly to my testicle and it became very swollen and inflamed. Now it is Sunday and I just found this video last night. I did the excerses last night and it relived the pain to a to basically 90%. Woke up and walked around a bit and was sore again and did the stretch again and it relived it. The glutes are so painful when rolling the ball on them so I’m sure it’s coming from this. The swelling hasn’t gone down yet but should I be worried about that? I mean the pain is going away from these stretches so that’s a good sign I would say.

I was so frightened at what i could be a physician told me it was normal to have a dull ache in your testes, theres no way. I did your exercises and felt instant relief. I thought i would contribute a little to you for feedback. I recently have been doing full squats at the gym, with moderate weight, but i am sure that this is the reason for the tightness. Also another issue i noticed, i am prescribed xanax for anxiety, however when i would take it, i would notice the pain alleviated. I thought it was just the "anti-anxiety" effect, but later i realized, that relax's me, effectively, so im assuming my muscles down there were somewhat relaxed. This was strange. But anyway, i tried your methods, and like i said, instant relief, i will continue to use these and stretch. I am still going to do squats, but i will use these as preventive measures. THANKS SO MUCH! what a relief!!!

Glad to hear it. If you do a lot of activities that tend to tighten the tissue you released, you may have to do occasional maintenance. When I was doing a lot of kettlebells, I had to do this once or twice a week. But, you get pretty good at it, so it doesn't take much time.

@garycrowley1 thank you I've woken up pain free today. I've had this for near 6 months now. I believe it's partly from stress and anxiety making me overly tense. Is it also possible I have a muscular imbalance and they could be over compensating for a weakness elsewhere ?

    • @garycrowley1
      @garycrowley1  8 лет назад

You might have to do it many times to get al the tissue that is tight. Some folks can do it once, others do it a couple times a day for a few days, some do it everyday for a week before it's totally gone. Sounds like you may have more tissue to release. It's good you got some relief, so now you know that it is probably being caused by tight tissue.

@@eaglee9192 I have no way of knowing if you have torsion in your testicles. If you are that concerned then you need to go to see a doctor. My advice is to find any ball that you can press into the tight tissue in your hips, and release ALL the tight tissue you can find on BOTH sides of your hips. Just DO it and see if it works. If it doesn't work then go see a doctor. Thinking about this isn't going to fix anything. DO it and see if it helps. If it doesn't help then move on to other approaches.

    • @garycrowley1

Good question. I don't think a jockstrap would help with this issue, as the problem is caused by tight tissue in the hip rotators negatively affecting the innervation to your testicle.

Is there a certain type of massage I can ask for, for this issue? I dont want to go in and ask for a butt massage.
I have had chronic ball pain for 7 months. Twice it got to the point that I could not walk and I'm a fit guy. A VA doctor said I had epididymitis and I took a bunch of antibiotics. I also told him I wanted a vasectomy. So he pinched the living hell out of my epididymitis which I now have a cyst there...thanks doc! I got a 2nd look at it and the doc said I had been on antibiotics long enough and that I should see a chiropractor.
Wish me luck with the tennis ball massage!

    hey man
Got epididymitis but the infection cleared up with antibiotics. I do not have any pain but some dull ache now and then and I also feel some burning sensation in left buttocks/inside thigh. Could it be that i developed some trigger points after the inflammation. Because the dull ache is not constant.

      veenooms Hello Veenooms,
Sounds like the techniques in my video may help with those remaining symptoms. Give them a shot.
      Best,

got a bad backache last month that added in the thrill of testicle pain like i've never had before. just saw your video and did the exercises and it helped me alot....i was starting to get worried that it was something that wasn't going away. with your tennis ball stretch i felt relief in minutes....THANK YOU SO MUCH....question? should i keep the exercises up on a daily basis just as a preventative measure? john
