I lent a psp from a friend when I was young and played this all night long, just loved it. Now, 10 years later I bought a psp and ridge racer and life my little dream! Always wanted to own one. :)
Such a simple but enjoyable game...cruising around those corners so effortlessly. Definitely puts you in the zone. Though I enjoy the earlier, harder handling model more overall, this one is has its own joy for sure. It's also a kind of Ridge Racer greatest hits in terms of tracks. Tons of tracks.
I still enjoy it on my PSP 2004 and I just love it! Nice to see it on a big screen, it looks really beautiful, especially when considering it's age. :)
Which Raggio? The regular Class 3 and Class 6 Raggio or the Special Class 2 Yamasa Raggio? Personally I think you can't get any better than the Terrazi Wildgang and Angelus/Crinale Kid, they have the greatest acceleration, speed and handling after all

I recently purchased PPSSPP Gold and downloaded RR2, I just need some good settings as it tends to stutter at times. I'm using a Sony Xperia Z2 D6503 on Lollipop 5.1.1, 3GB RAM
fuck I want to play this again... would fire up my 3DS on it but I'm not sure if its worth it on 3DS... it was the early days so 3D is super powrful... but the PSP games just look, sound and feel better
Man, when I run this mode using the PPSSPP on my mac, the cars don't have real-time reflections, the game runs at only 30fps, and there is some random black bar at the bottom of the screen in first person views. Basically, the only thing I get are smooth graphics (no jaggies.)
Loved the original n just bought this one off ebay for only 3 quid so if its the same as the original who gives a f**k its the same price as a vodie n irn bru,but will still last longer.

Idk why the graphics just look so "SEGA" to me, just has that Saturn and Dreamcast vibe.
