Is it the same procedure on the 'driver's side? I don't want to break/chip anything....reason I want to replace the switch is because none of the light symbols are on....is this normal for 2016 Chev Trax?

Yes, this will be the same for the Driver Side as well. You can always look up a switch cluster for the driver side on the Trax to validate where tabs are to validate. Thanks for watching!
