I’m ur biggest fan, I’ve been watching ur videos for 23 years. I’m so inspired to go fishing and leave my water shoes at home, god I want to catch a fish with my big toe so bad…. 100% fan
anywhere freshwater flows into saltwater, where there are also mangroves and a muddy bottom. separate video on that a few down from this one on my homepage
I purposefully didn't post this until a month or so after filming it, when I saw the spot starting to already crowd up with skiffs on the weekends, because that bridge is a well known spot and boats will fish it out fast when anglers realize the sheeps have arrived for the season. In mannasota where I live, they tend to arrive in mid october and stick around until mid spring. try kayak fishing the smaller private docks that most larger boats stay away from and you should score some sheepsheads!
You should get a head mount for you camera the view is pretty shit on the chest mount. All we can see the center of the kayak and not much of the actual fishing.
Nice catches and footage! Interesting how they were all biting on the drop- must've been starving!
