Really enjoying these videos, keep them coming. I heard someone say that forgiveness is not a feeling but an act of the will. Jesus wills us to forgive. I try to keep that in mind when I feel unforgiving. 🙏
Yes very hard to turn the other cheek especially when family!! But I pray every night for her to be safe and Loved!! And can't be around for fear of personal injury but still pray for her to be loved, safe and happy!! Seems like the hate is getting less than was so hopeful will one day be gone!! Forgiveness is probably the hardest thing we as Christians have to deal with, but without forgiveness we will miss out on many Blessings that God has for us. I would also say that when we give forgiveness and whatever caused us to feel that we have been hurt, then if it continues to come against us, it probably is a good idea to change our directions so we will not be exposed to it anymore. I don't believe that God wants us to be in situations where we are abused or hurt and he does give us choices that we can make. I would suggest that anything like this needs to be lifted up in prayer seeking wisdom from God on how to handle it.The word tells us - “Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare” (Prov. 13:20 ).
Girlfriend you are all in my life right now 🤔. Forgiveness for me is SOOOO hard. I’ve been burned more times than I can count and now the walls are up… I think I have forgiven them but man I can’t let it go. My fallen flesh wants justice. Ughh so hard. I just started reading Larry Crabb’s “Inside Out”. Hopefully some insight to a different way. Great video!! ❤
hate only hurts you not the one that caused it. ask GOD to forgive you and the one that hurt you. for give us are trespasses as we forgive those that trespass ageist us. the mind is the hardest thing to change, but when we do the peace we receive can only come from GOD. hard things only makes are faith stronger when we overcome. GOD is blessing you with understanding. the things of this world is fleeting, but GODS word will last forever.
