If you check the Nissan workshop manual, you see that the only specification for the ignition coil itself is to check the resistance between pin 1 and two (except 0 or infinite), between 1 and 3 (except 0) and between 2 and 3 (except 0). All other steps are for checking the wiring.
Reading on this coil is a bit different from coil on plugs with two pins (that we can check the primary and secondary coils resistance), in this coil that has three pins there is a transistor inside which makes the resistance measurement impossible. On this kind of COP with three pins, as there is an ignition module inside the ignition coil, workshop manual does not recommend to measure the primary / secondary windings and it does not provide any specifications as well. It only refers to check the wiring. TO make sure if fault code is from the coil itself, we normally swap it with another coil on the engine and we check if code moves to the new cylinder it means coil is faulty.
