Stealth Rollback Thorpe Park 23/03/2024

Today, Thorpe Park Opening Day 2024, the first train of the year rolled back after failing to make it over the top of the ride. This event occurs when there are high winds, or not enough momentum to push it over the top. The ride is equipped with safety features to prevent this from occurring.

Was the weirdest and best feeling ever. We took off as we started going up a gust of wind hit directly in our face😂 stopped at top we all went omg img then went bkwards such a mad feeling we cheered 🎉 was a good reward for that run and dive on😂 staff hadn't even said the words yet music went off and we run as they turned on Mike to say stealth is open😂😂 sat in my seat as they finished speaking 😂😂😂

I was on that the pink coat lady is my mum, we where in the seventh row. It was very shocking, I definitely put my hands up. But it was a truly great experience.

I've been on Stealth many times, but never experienced a rollback before. I always thought they occurred less frequently since it had its acceleration speed increased, but this just goes to show that they still do happen unexpectedly! 😁

My kids are row 1 am row 3 with my sister. Fred row 2 his dad was sitting jt out. Callum row 8. Eva row 9. Its not fake it was epic and this amazing man caught it on camera I saw him filming during the 20 minutes we all sat on break run waiting for engineers to stand nxt to track to roll us in and then close the ride straight after issue everyone fast track. Theirs another youtuber that was row 4 he's got a vid up to. Deffo real you just missed it at 1030am
