Hey Jarek! I am converting from console to PC. You seem to be able to run most games (including Cyberpunk) are you able to share your specs please? PS love the content!
Yknow, I really like the corny story. It reminds me of that era, before every game cost a hundred zillion dollars to make and back when you could sell a video game as just a game with a little story... instead of every game ever needing to be this super serious realistic 'immersive' environment. This is a video game, and it knows it.
the funny thing is, games had the immersive sim genre, but apparently that is too hard to make. but it is very lovely(for me) to play. agreed that "supah seriooous realiztik" gmaes are boring for they sacrifice fun for being a interactive movie.
@@drivanradosivic1357 I agree to a point, some games like Rainbow and EFT get the balance of arcade style gameplay with more ‘realistic’ elements like drastically lower time to kill and all that, and they still manage to stay fun. What’s the worst is when you drop into a game of ARMA tryna fuck about with your mates and you stumble across a bunch of milsim neckbeards that get angry if you break rank
@@thesequeltoobama7030 Erm, what the hell is arcadey about either of those, especially EFT? It has gamey aspects, I mean duh, its a game. But it is as realistic as they come. I disagree with you two. Realistic doesn't mean not fun. Some of the best, most gripping games I have ever played were and are realistic. And games were not necessarily unrealistic because they were older. Gamey? Sure. Worse? NAh.
@@ivansalamon7028 what’s arcadey about rainbow six, a hero shooter with a man so muscular that he can literally run through a wall? Or how all of the riot shield operators can sprint forever whilst holding a huge armoured shield in front of them? Is there any chance of bleeding if you get hit? I don’t know, in retrospect rainbow six now appears to me as the epitome of realism. EFT, whilst having a stronger sense of realism in damage taking/healing, resource management and more of a traditional ‘realistic’ combat system, it still doesn’t feel like a true ‘realism’ game like squad or insurgency. Now, you seem to have misunderstood my point, and this may be in part to my shoddy wording. I don’t hate games that aim for a more grounded and real feel at all, with arma 3 being one of my most played games on pc. I just think the fun is taken out of it when a huge group of a player base try and enforce this idea that if you’re not pretending you’re in the military and doing call signs and all that shit you’re just a waste of space on the server. I understand this for more high stakes games of squad or arma, but sometimes I want to be able to experience a more grounded game but also be able to talk shit to my mates without getting hounded by some nonce probably too overweight to get into the real military.
I think there's a balance where tone is the most important factor as to what does and doesn't work. If a story is trying to be serious or intense, then an immersive and realism-centric style can work incredibly. If a Game's story is supposed to be campy or outrageous than a more tongue-in-cheek tone is justified and can really help make the experience fun and exciting. Different end goals require different paths of getting there. Case-in point. Compare The Last of Us, (the first one) and any given Devil May Cry game. Last of Us' narrative is so heavily built around genuine human emotion and realistic reactions to grief that an immersive tone is really the only way to go. If it were like DMC with a wise cracking protagonist doing somersaults over crumbling buildings and fucking around with his enemies constantly then almost none of that powerful message would have gotten through. Meanwhile if Devil May Cry had a super grounded tone where almost no fantasy elements were present and Dante was just this introspective, sad man who only ever talks about his tragic past then almost none of the series' charm would make it through. (Hell, in the case of the latter the campy tone works for the story because once the comic relief and silliness stops and more focus is put on drama it stands out to the player and makes them focus.) The reason Corney plots you're not supposed to take seriously died out is because they feel disposable. A campy, over the top narrative can still have a genuine effect on someone if there's heart behind it. Meanwhile a dramatic, thickly layered plot can draw the player into another place and resonate on an emotional level. Simple, Corney plots with no thematic consistency just feel supplementary and uninteresting.
it's not a remake, people really need to stop referring to it as a remake. it's a new game based on the same movie. just like Star Wars on NES and Super Star Wars on SNES were 2 separate games based on the same movie. it has almost nothing in common with the N64 game, not even the same Bond actor!
Ok, there is one exemption. Dr. Heskel from Ion Fury is John St. John. He's starting to flex his muscles a lot more outside of the usual Duke Nukem voice, although with Postal Dude you can still tell

I didn't vocalize this in the first one but I very much do like the idea of a wii month tbh There quiet a few underrated titles on the Wii that most people don't even know about or aren't aware of because of the console's reputation.
I know it's unlikely, but are you going to cover Metroid Blast? It was one of the mini-games on Nintendo Land (amazing game BTW). I know it's a third person shooter and on Wii U; but it was one of, if not the best games in an already great collection
if you have the time, please play 007 quantom of solace on the WII. I played it alot as a kid and it is so wierd. I have no idea what was even going on most of the time, shooting feels pretty good. I have a vague memory of cutscenes being broken af but I might be wrong tho.
Bad level aside,I think the Siberia level felt like the devs intentionally pulls a punch and makes fun of the infamous Library Level from Halo cus of how Deja vu and annoying it is so they included their version of it in this game..again just to poke fun at the Players and Halo.

There was a HD port of The Conduit games coming to PS3 for Playstation Move at one point. It got cancelled.
I was waiting for this. thanks man
I really really really want Conduit 3
Looking forward to the next video! You're right, now I can never unhear John St. John again 🤯
The automatic turret was make for the wave game mode, and the wall rifle too. I past to many hours and this game with friends on the wave game mode xD
I think it's really cool that you're covering wii shooters
Abe Lincoln also voiced by Raiden. Love it.
Could you perhaps review "Medal of Honor: Vanguard" on the wii? That game was my childhood.
Can someone tell me the song that Jarek always use in the Outro?
Great video btw Jarek
Can you do full spectrum warrior after the Wii trend
This is one of my favorite games ever. I don't know why, it just is. I've played the campaign so many times.
maybe a conduit 3 on switch someday... we can only hope
Yesss red steel 1 review is gonna be amazing, i hope...
The Deatomizer Mk4 aka the future looking vector in "the conduit" if you charge it, it sounds like the charge sound from metroid prime its very cool i guess lol
"The ending cant be that weird, can it?" HOLY FU-
Hello, which version of dolphin did you run the conduit 2 on? can you provide a link? Thx
Hope this and Conduit 1 get remastered someday.
I would buy 5 copies of it if that happened. 3 so other people can have a copy, 1 for me to play the game, and the last for me to put on display with my Conduit memorabilia.
The AI that the main character talks to sounds really close to vega, from DOOM
Im glad people liked these games to this day,i though Jarek would never make videos about Conduit or Wii in general.I might make a mod for conduit or heck even maybe just new maps for conduit 2.Hopefully Conduit 1 and 2 is moddable for PC.
I didn't vocalize this in the first one but I very much do like the idea of a wii month tbh
There quiet a few underrated titles on the Wii that most people don't even know about or aren't aware of because of the console's reputation.
This was honestly one of my favorite games on the wii.
Yo man, can you review MDK2? We got it for free with our ME Windows desktop when I was a kid and it's an absolute banger of a game
Does this game support the gamecube controller? Want to give it a shot on dolphin but feel like it would be awkward with the Dualshock 4 gyro
Great review Jarek. :)
I have a question
Will you ever release your wallpaper? It's beautiful! And I've never found it online :(
It was an image I commissioned of my character. It's not really something I want floating around outside of specific places.
Not going to make a review of the metroid series?
I know it's unlikely, but are you going to cover Metroid Blast? It was one of the mini-games on Nintendo Land (amazing game BTW). I know it's a third person shooter and on Wii U; but it was one of, if not the best games in an already great collection
will you review red steel 1 / 2 ??
He said he's doing it after Medal of Honor Heroes 2
if you have the time, please play 007 quantom of solace on the WII.
12:06 okay so the sight is on the mag cover and it moves forward. WHAT?! why would you put it there!?
YESSSS GIVE US MORE WII REVIEWS
Great idea for a series!!!!
Would you consider reviewing Psi-Ops the Mindgate Conspiracy? It was weird and different in a compelling way. The spiritual predecessor to Control
