You got a really bad quality fake. I have two fakes from different breeds and one of them is so perfect that is almost scary. The only difference from the original is the impedance because it got a fake transformer.
I have a real 58 that quit working and ended up buying a knockoff capsule for $12. It’s not the same; i added a gold ball to make sure it doesn’t get mixed with real 58s
2 things: look where the basket meets the body. That should be flush. On the fakes, there is always a little overhang. Second, push down on the capsule. On the real one there will be a little bit of flex because of the internal shock mount. The fakes never have that.
